We had been holidaying in Brittany for many years before taking the plunge to buy our own piece of heaven. We feel very lucky to have stumbled upon this incredible farmhouse and grounds that fulfils our requirements to a T! We wanted a large property to spread out in with plenty of grounds for the children to roam free in whilst being close to the sea and attractions. We love sharing our 5 * slice of heaven with our guests who come back year after year and rate us so highly.

St-Malo Beaches and Islands
The falling tide reveals several sandy beaches of fine white sand and a cluster of rocky islands that may be reached on foot. The latter are home to a variety of fortifications, as well as the tomb of Chateaubriand, and provide great views back to the walled city.
The exposed sands make it possible to walk a half circuit of the Old Town on the western and northern sides between the Mole des Noires jetty and the Chateau de St-Malo. East of the chateau, the long sandy Grande Plage stretches towards the district of Parame. For those visiting the islands, timetables are available at the Porte St-Pierre gate to provide guidance on beating the rising tide.
The genteel resort of Dinard, facing St-Malo across the Rance estuary, boasts several superb sandy beaches. The most central, the plage de l’Écluse, backed by stately villas and bedecked with blue-and-white canvas sun shields, was immortalised by Picasso in Baigneuses sur la Plage.
Port Mer Beach : Rue Eugène et Auguste Feyen 35260 Cancale
The gently sloping beach of Port Mer is located north of Cancale. Bordered by busy seaside restaurants the beach is very popular during the summer. It is very well equipped with a playground for children on the sand and a nautical center where kayaks and boats can be hired by the hour or day.
Situated in the middle of a bay, Mont Saint-Michel welcomes many visitors each year. Meander up the Grande Rue with its museums, shops and houses dating from the 15th and 16th centuries and, after admiring the Abbey church, enjoy the beautiful and matchless view over the bay whilst wandering down the ramparts path.
The old town is crammed with half timbered buildings dating from the 13th and 14th centuries, with cobbled, rambling streets. Throughout the old town are numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and the colourful shops. Rue du Petite Port is impressive and the steep walk up to the old town and the ramparts is worth it for the superb views and sense of history.
Strolling around the ancient walled cobbled street of St Malo finds you in a busy, lively and characterful town, packed with restaurants, bars and shops. A walk along the ramparts provides you with magnificent views of both the citadel within and the beach and sea beyond. The vast, clean, sandy beaches are right on the cities doorstep and it is here that you can swim in the sea or the tidal sea water pool.
Set on the dramatic coastline of Brittany in northern France, Dinard long been a fashionable and chic destination for holidaying French. Characterised by its long and wide, tree-lined boulevards that converge on elegant squares full of chic restaurants and creperies, the town is surrounded on three sides by golden beaches and incredibly blue sea. A great destination for those seeking upmarket shopping facilities, restaurants, wishing to meander around the coastal path, sail, take part in water sports or spend the day at one of the wonderful beaches.
