Le Fournil – Renovated July 2019 luxury self-catering cottage for 2 in secluded tranquil grounds of Le Pas Cru Chambre d’Hotes dating back to the 1600s.
Restoration of the old bakehouse and piggery provides a special and memorable place to stay in an environment where you feel at home and are able to fully relax. A warm and welcoming atmosphere with exposed beams, stone walls and handcrafted furniture throughout.
The handcrafted kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dining table with old restored prayer chairs, a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, whistling kettle, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, plenty of storage space for food.
The old bakehouse now provides a cosy and welcoming lounge with a large comfortable sofa to relax on. A wood burning stove for cooler autumn and winter evenings and windows looking onto open countryside and the courtyard at Le Pas Cru.
The spacious bedroom with king size oak four poster bed looks out onto the private garden and surrounding fields.
Additional seating in the bedroom and frenchdoors provide an ideal place for an early morning coffee to view the abundance of wildlife, including deer.
The spacious luxury bathroom has a roll top bath and separate shower enclosure.
Wood burning stove and underfloor heating throughout for cooler autumn and winter evenings.
All areas are covered by wi-fi.
Numerous boardgames, cards and paperback books available.
Le Fournil has its own private garden area, sunloungers, outside table and chairs.
Private parking is available on site just a short walk from the cottage. However, the car can be parked directly outside for unloading etc.
We aim to offer guests complete privacy but we are conscious that some will have questions or like to socialise and we make ourselves available, if required.
We offer the opportunity to dine at Le Pas Cru with prior notice.
