|St Barts||Self Catering||Saturday||2||4||1||Twin Room, and double bed in alcove downstairs|
Set in 3 hectares of park and meadows, this lovely cottage is in a quiet area, but close enough to walk to the nearest village of St Barthelemy, and only 6 km from the market town of Baud and just over a 1 km to the River Blavet and its long towpath for river walks or bike rides. The Cottage has an open plan layout, with king size bed, bathroom with bath and shower over, galley style kitchen, downstairs. Up the short staircase there is a twin bedroom with en suite shower room.
Just received from a client who had 3 weeks here in June: After over 50 years of holidaying in France, because of our advanced joint age of 170 years – we fear this is our last time. We are sad about this but our visit to St Barts has helped to soften the blow. The owners really looked after us well and made us so welcome. The cottage and pool are by far the best we have experience and the surrounding area is so peaceful and quiet. It’s a shame that we had not known about this earlier as we would most certainly made several more visits. DWG, Surrey
The galley kitchen area has a gas hob, table top oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher and there is a washing machine in the bathroom.
One kingsize bed downstairs (open plan) and upstairs large twin room
Downstairs the bathroom has bath with shower over and upstairs there is an en suite shower room.
Outside you will be able to explore the 3 hectares of park and meadows and relax by the in-ground, heated swimming pool (10x5m), occasionally shared with the owner.
Bikes are available to borrow. Bed linen included in the price. If you wish to rent pool towels these are available at 5€ each per person per week. Hand and bath towels are included for your convenience. Wi-fi is available via your own device. Wendy house is beside the swings in the garden and there is a picnic table by the gentle stream. Sorry no pets as the owner has a dog and the cottage is in farmland
