Your holiday will be spent in charming traditional Stable Cottage in a large, secluded courtyard setting on our own 50 acre private estate directly bordering the Nantes-Brest Canal.  Furnished and fully equipped to a high standard.
 
Relax and unwind at Magourou in unspoilt countryside.  Freedom to wander throughout the estate. Roam down the track to the fields, through the oak glade and then return along the canal to your own holiday cottage. 
 
Bird-watching, fishing and cycling by the canal.  Rambling for the enthusiast or gentle strolls along the towpath. Or just simply relax and enjoy tranquillity.
 
Ideal touring base. Lakes for swimming, fishing, watersports 4km and 20km. Market town 3km with supermarkets, restaurants and pâtisserie.
 
Accommodation . Inglenook fireplace with woodburner. Exposed original beams throughout. Hand-made dining table from oak harvested on the estate. Modern kitchen with all the usual facilities including electric cooker and microwave. Upstairs bathroom. One double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. Bedding, towels and electricity included. Washing machine and freezer. Free internet access via wi-fi. Electric heaters throughout.

* Vet details: Well behaved dogs are very welcome here at Magourou and indeed the 50 acres of fields, tracks and woodland are ideal for them. There is also the well maintained towpath which is perfect for dogs - and their owners! There is also a very good local vet.

Canal de Nantes à Brest on your Doorstep

Gentle strolls or rambling for the enthusiast along the picturesque canal towpath which borders the estate.

Cycling Too!

Traffic-free cycling along the canal towpath or the old railway line which is now a designated cycletrack. Ideal for children.
