We moved to France in 2004 from the UK with our three young children. We enjoy the culture and way of life in rural Brittany and take great pleasure in sharing it with all our visitors. We take great pride in our home and our reward comes from others having a great holiday.<br/>We feel that we have the best of both worlds. Lenvos is an oasis of peace with no neighbours, light pollution or traffic noise. But we have all the benefits of a thriving village and cosmopolitan town within 5 minutes drive.

Centered on the junction of the Nantes to Brest canal and the river Blavet, the town boasts a plethora of wood framed houses and Napoleonic military and civil buildings.
We have just come back from our fourth visit to Gites de Lenvos. We first went when our two children were 1 and 5 years and they are now 10 and 14. They have enjoyed it as much this time as they did when they first went – Lenvos appeals to children of all ages. My daughter told me this time that she preferred her holiday in Lenvos to her holiday in Disney World as there is more to do in France!
The kids both love feeding the guinea pigs, walking the dog, going on the rope swing, swimming and Phil’s bushcraft mornings. My son and husband enjoyed just being able to grab a fishing rod and wander off to one of the lakes for a fish – 10 fish in one afternoon this year. It is such a relaxing place – even more so now the children are older and amuse themselves.
Phil, Fiona and their girls have always been so friendly and welcoming and do their utmost to make sure you have a good holiday. We have never stayed anywhere else where the owners have been so friendly and visible. They can provide advice on where to visit and where to eat and will book a table for you if necessary. The girls have babysat our children when they were younger, so my husband and I could have a grownup meal out.
We have always enjoyed the paella nights – Phil cooks a paella on an open fire by the lake for all gite guests who want to join in and Fiona makes fantastic canapes and puddings. It is always an enjoyable evening and we were sad that it was rained off for our visit this year.
A fab holiday!
