Set in the Tranquil Countryside of the Blavet Valley. This cottage/gite is in a rural setting.

Once the main farmhouse, Les Marrons is a traditional granite built Breton house which retains its original atmosphere and features. The open plan ground floor offers a spacious kitchen/dining and living area. The kitchen is equipped with gas cooker, dishwasher, large fridge, microwave with grill, toaster, kettle and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Positioned under the large french windows is the farmhouse table with ample seating and views across the courtyard. The cosy living area with comfortable furnishings also has built in stone seating at the side of the large fireplace. Set in the heart of unspoilt countryside Le Guily offers 2 superb holiday cottages and is ideally situated for exploring Brittany and further afield in France. With its own unique atmosphere Le Guily is a wonderful place to ensure a tranquil, relaxing but not isolated French holiday.

Kitchen and dining

The fully-fitted kitchen is open plan and equipped with gas cooker, large fridge, dishwasher, microwave with grill, toaster, kettle and plenty of other items. Large farmhouse table with ample seating. We have fitted a new kitchen for 2016 which is lovely.

Living rooms

Open plan with large fireplaces and woodburners. The cosy living area with comfortable furnishings also has built in stone seating at the side of the large fireplace.
Satellite tv and dvd/cassette/radio systems. There are plenty of books iand toys and games for different ages. Also we have new sofas for 2016

Bedrooms

Les Marrons has a large double ground floor bedroom with large en suite bathroom.
On the first floor is a double bedroom with a cot, large twin bedroom and a smaller twin bedroom.
The rooms on the first floor are full of character with beams and wood floors

Bathrooms

Large ground floor en suite bathroom with bath, wet room style shower and toilet.
On the first floor there is another bathroom with bath and toilet.

Heating

We have a large wood burner in the sitting room and there are also electric heaters in each room for extra warmth if needed.

Entertainment

There is a fantastic games room in a converted barn which houses a pool table, table tennis, electronic darts, multi-gym and cross trainer. There are also some toys for younger children. We also have a trampoline and a petanque court in the garden to play boules.
There is plenty of room in the garden to play and run around.
In the houses are freeview tv, cd and dvd players. There are also shelves of books to read and some games.

Garden and outside

In the well established gardens there are lovely mature trees, shrubs and flowers, plenty of room to play ball games, have a barbecue or just enjoy the views over the valley.
There is a boules court, slide, swings and small climbing frame and swing for younger children.

Parking and garages

There is plenty of parking in the courtyard for multiple cars

Visitor suitability

The houses are suitable to be both booked together or separately as they both have private areas.
If you would like to bring your own boats there is plenty of room.
Both houses are also suitable for those with limited mobility or who use wheelchairs. The houses and grounds are easily accessible and adapted with these needs in mind. Extra equipment such as hoists and profiling beds can be hired at very reasonable rates

Why this location? It was unspoilt and beautiful and we liked the views from the property although near to the village and amenities.
Unique benefits of property Views, wildlife, peace, birdsong. Also plenty of room for parties and fun and great for children and those with limited mobility.

Roscoff and St Malo are both approx 2 hours away by car. Cherbourg is approx 4 hours away by car. Calais is approx 6 hours away by car. The airport at Dinard is approx 2 hours by car

The restaurants of Cendrillon and Chez Marcelle are both located in the village of Kergrist approx 1 mile away or a 15 min walk. The restaurants are accessible to those with limited mobility and wheelchair users.
