The larger sandy beaches on the Bay of Biscay are within a short cycle ride (Plage de Penvins 5km), linking back to the Gulf side of the Presqu’ile de Rhuys by various coastal or cycle paths. Visit the nearby Chateau de Suscinio (5km), or the bird lovers haven around Le Hezo. There is also an ornithological zone with a bird hide close to the house in the now disused salt marshes of St. Colombier, with many birds arriving in Autumn. The medieval city of Vannes is just 23km away, or take your bicycles down to Port Navalo and onto a boat for a trip to Belle Ile or Ile Aux Moines. Several smaller islands are within a short cycle ride, near St Armel, along with a short ferry hop to Sene, south of Vannes. St Colombier (1km) has a bar, creperie, restaurant and Tourist Information Office. There are a number of watersport centres along the Atlantic beaches, an 18-hole golf course at St Gildas de Rhuys, thalassotherapy centre at Arzon, several tennis centres, a fitness centre in Sarzeau and even fitness lessons on the beach in St Jacques!
The dining room has a table with 6 chairs with a french door leading out to the terrace with 6ft outdoor table, 6 new chairs and a number of spare. A well equipped kitchen area has a double drainer stainless steel sink with mixer taps, gas hob, electric oven/grill, microwave and fridge. The freezer and washing machine are situated in the garage.
The lounge has seating for 5 adults on 2 sofas, coffee-table and television, dvd player and Sky box offering numerous UK television channels.

The house has 3 bedrooms. On the ground floor, the double has its own washbasin. Upstairs there is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. A travelcot is also available.

26 inch lcd television with English satellite channels and radio is available as well as digital and terrestrial French channels and dvd/cd player with full stereo. Wi-fi (Internet) planned from late May 2014.
An outdoor Cornilleau Club table tennis table is folded away in the garage.
The garden furniture includes sunloungers as well as outdoor table and chairs. There is a swing, and both an outdoor table tennis table and barbecue are located in the garage.
The garage is used solely for storage. However, the gated driveway offers plenty of off-road parking for several cars.
For those with small children there is a travelcot, highchair, bed-guard and a stairgate which can be fitted on request.
Heating is via wall mounted convector heaters, and the first 100kw of electricity is included in each weeks rental. Additional use at 0.15 Euro/kw. Linen is also available for hire. A 250 Euro or £200 security deposit is also required.
Please note that the winter rate of £200/week is only available for multiple week bookings.
At St Armel (3km to the north) stop off at "Le Moulin a Cafe" at the village centre for refreshments. This is a bar, boulangerie and patisserie.
Take your bicycles down to Port Navalo and onto a boat for a trip to Belle Ile or Ile Aux Moines.
St Malo 160km. Closest ferry ports (shortest/quickest route in miles) are Roscoff (121/145 miles) and St Malo (94/119 miles)
St Colombier 1km
Vannes, a beautiful medieval town boasting imposing architecture with fine half-timbered houses within the town walls, is just 23km away. It also boasts an attractive pedestrianised shopping area. The Vannes to Port Navalo bus stops at St Colombier, less than 1km away from the property.
