We recently stayed at Ty Charmian. Well what can we say, such a beautiful house set in the most tranquil setting with amazing views across the surrounding countryside. The house was immaculate with very comfy beds and was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need for your holiday. Sparkling crystal clear pool and we definitely sat on the patio many a night with a glass of the local cidre in hand. The village is lovely and quiet especially the beautiful church which is well wotth a visit but has very easy access to other villages for a sneaky crepe😉 or tasty traditional Breton meal or maybe stocking up at the local supermarket. A* customer service . We would wholeheartedly recommend this gorgeous house to friends and family. We look forward to returning for another visit. ❤
Ty Charmian is a superb place to stay, particularly if you are accompanied by children (of any age). The house is well appointed, well maintained and has everything needed for a great holiday. The house is in a great location in a quiet village. There is a bar/restaurant within walking distance which can also supply bread and croissants. The pool is heated and was used extensively every day of our fortnights stay. For cooler, wetter days the games room and games consoles keep boredom at bay. There is plenty of room in the garden for badminton or ball games. For those that like the beach, the coast is only 45 minutes away.
We really enjoyed our holiday and would recommend Ty Charmian to anyone looking for a family holiday in Brittany.
This was a fabulous holiday home - the pictures looked great but the property and it’s surrounding was even better in person. Immaculately clean and well maintained it offers everything listed and more.
The pool was much bigger than expected and was perfect for our 5 year old and the garden seating areas and bbq area was put to good use by the 4 adults as was the games room which kept us all entertained of an evening .
We explored the village and the local cafe/bar Charley’s provided us with bread and croissants which we could order daily as well as fab pizzas.
Day trips to Lamour Plague, Concarneau and Auray were enjoyed by all 3 generations and we can’t wait to return . A real home from Home would recommend without hesitation!
You can tell this is a much loved holiday home with plenty to keep our two families entertained. The pool was a total hit with the kids and is great for small children who are learning to swim. The house catered well for our 4 adults, 4 kids and 1 new born, with plenty to occupy everyone and a nice patio area for the adults to relax in evening with a glass of wine. Dragging the kids away from the pool wasn’t easy but we managed a day trip to the beach at Larmor-Plage which is a must, and a trip to the local Base nautique Roi Morvan Communauté which offers a closer fresh water lake for the kids to play. Mark the owner was very helpful and the house was presented immaculately on our arrival. Our only regret was that we only booked for one week.
