Ty Charmian exceeded our expectations in every respect. The property was spacious, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and clearly very well maintained to a very high standard. Attention to detail was evident in the provision of everything to make a great holiday from the swimming pool, the lovely gardens and an exceptionally fitted out kitchen. Good quality comfortable beds and furniture along with very attractive functional bathrooms and showers.
Location was peaceful and quiet yet not remote and access to the coast being a very pleasant drive away. Similarly, access from the ferry port at Roscoff was an easy and enjoyable drive down through rural Britany. We also enjoyed eating out at nearby restaurants in Guémené-sur-Scorff, a lovely attractive town just a short drive away.
We've enjoyed our stay so much we are booking again for next spring. Highly recommend this beautifully presented property.

We stayed for two weeks between 10-24th August 2019 The house is beautiful, arrived early evening to fresh baguettes butter and milk. The house has the best equipped kitchen we have ever stayed in. Our son has severe food allergies and this meant we were able to prepare and cook food safely for him. Accommodation both inside and out was exceptionally clean. The bedrooms were all a decent size. We were a family with three children aged 3,11 and 15. Pool during the day was a big hit with all of us. The pool table of the night meant we had fun and quality time with older kids of an evening once the youngest was in bed. When leaving the house we visited some incredible places all between 20-55 minutes away.
Local towns aprox 15 min away were quiet however had supermarkets and boulangeries where we regularly enjoyed a treat of fresh cakes and breads.
Communication with the owners both before and after was always excellent as was the caretakers during the stay. The house is a very quiet rural village - sunsets are beautiful and bunnies hopping over the lawn at dawn will be memories are children and us will hold for a long time.
We visited Quimperlé, Pontivy, Plouay, lac du bel aire 13 min drive has a beautiful lake and play area for children under 8 a lovely hot chocolate and coffee from the bar. The bats at dusk by the church in Kernascléden were enjoyed by the boys at dusk. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely house, absolutely spotless, very comfortable, in a lovely setting, beautiful gardens, peaceful and very well equipped both in terms of the kitchen but also games and toys for the children. We had a fabulous week at Ty Charmian.

Wonderful vacation at Ty Charmain. We had two families including slightly older children who were well entertained throughout. We managed to catch one of the best weeks for the weather so we made the most of the lovely pool and not so much of the games room as we may have expected.
Everything about the gite was as expected from the advert. The place was very clean, well maintained and had everything we could need for the week.

The location is ideallic. Very Cornwall-esq, especially the back roads down to Plouay. Quiet, scenic location with a great bar/restaurant (Le Charley's) in the square a short walk away. Very friendly welcome at Le Charley's, putting up with our very broken French! Supermarche's all within 10-15 mins drive away. Able to stock up on some classic French cuisine and really enjoyed our laid back family meals with a glass of wine as the sun set.

We really enjoyed wandering around Quimperle and Pontivy. Wonderful classic French architecture with plenty of cafe, bars and restaurants to grab refreshment in the heat! The beach at Larmor-Plage is also a must see-do, if you can drag yourselves away from the pool!

Excellent communication with the owner before and after. Hassle free and very efficient.

Would recommend Ty Charmain. Great base to explore the area and then come back to the peaceful setting.

Thank you Mark & Charmain!
