Set at the end of a country lane Le Pressoir (sleeping 6) has its own entrance with a private terrace and barbecue area.
The cottage comprises of a well equipped kitchen, a separate sitting/dining area, a ground floor bedroom with an en suite shower room and upstairs 2 further bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room and the other with an en suite bathroom. All 3 bedrooms can be set up as either twins or with a king size double.
There is a laundry room with washing machines and an outside toilet, that along with the grounds and swimming pool, is shared with La Fermiere.
The 2 properties of La Fermiere and Le Pressoir can be combined to sleep up to 18 people.
All 3 bedrooms can be set up as either twins or as king size doubles.
Each bedroom has its own en suite.
The house has full central heating for the cooler months.
The sitting room is equipped with a UK satellite Freeview tv, dvd/video player and a cd stereo together with a selection of videos and books. There are a number of childrens toys available as well as a selection of boardgames.
There are guides of places to see, things to do and restaurant recommendations and the owners live on site so are happy to help out on advice and reservations.
The property is set within enclosed gardens of approximately half an acre.
The 11 x 5m swimming pool is fenced and alarmed for parents peace of mind. It has a retractable cover that enables swimming in all weathers. There are a number of sunloungers, seats and parasols on the surrounding terrace. The pool is open from the beginning of April to the end of October
On the private terrace there is plenty of wooden garden furniture, a barbecue and parasols.
The childrens play area is mainly in the shade with a picnic bench close by for supervising parents. There are a number of balls and rackets for guests use as well as a variety of beach toys.
St Leon is a small hamlet situated at the end of a quiet country lane with ample parking for up to 8 cars.
Le Pressoir provides accommodation in an impressive farmhouse, full of character, with large airy rooms making it ideal for large groups, friends or families, to be together yet with the privacy of your own space.
All bed linen is provided as well as bath mats, tea towels and basic cleaning products. Towels are available to hire if required.
The gites have wi-fi internet access, UK satellite Freeview tv, a selection of games, books and a guide of places to see, things to do and restaurant recommendations. The owners live on site so are happy to help out on advice and reservations.
A wide range of children’s accessories are available for guests use including cots, highchairs, stairgates, baby monitors, bed guards, pushchairs, toys and plastic plates, bowls, cups and cutlery.
A final cleaning service is available upon departure and guests are requested not to smoke inside the gites.
We work with a local caterer who will happily provide a welcome meal for those who don't want to cook upon arrival or provide a suitable menu for a celebration or for those who feel like a night off without having to leave the property.
In the town itself there are tennis courts and football pitches free to use on a first come basis after the local clubs. For walking or cycling, there are a number of maps of local routes available in the gites or alternatively beside the river Blavet there is cycle path that runs from Hennebont all the way to Pontivy. Camor forest is a short drive away and there area number of alignments locally as well.
There are many sandy beaches within half an hour of the property. These range from busy beaches with cafés and bars behind to quieter beaches with nothing else around at all.
There are 7 golf courses within an hours drive of the property with the closer ones including Rimaison, Ploemel (Auray) and Ploemeur Ocean. Help can be given to book tee off times if required.
There is at least one market every morning in the region with a list of the local ones available in the gites . The market in Hennebont is the largest in Brittany while Auray is also a good size, both are relatively local and worth a visit.
Our nearest town of Languidic has a number of restaurants to choose from and slightly further afield there are a good selection to choose from covering all tastes and budgets.
