A charming stone-built cottage in a pretty and secluded hamlet. The construction is a typical Breton longère.
This particularly cosy cottage is artistically decorated and has a really homely feel. It comfortably sleeps 7; with a double, bunk room and bathroom upstairs. A large bedroom, with one double and one single bed, is downstairs accessed via a small staircase from the main room. The beamed open plan living room has a wood floor and the sofas are positioned around an attractive wood burning stove. Very well equipped kitchen and dining area.
Large rambling garden with swings and hammocks; a large splash pool is available if requested. The patio has a private dining area under a gazebo and a barbecue for guests.
It is an ideal holiday for families and those who enjoy cycling and also for those who would like a relaxing taste of French life. The area has many beautiful market towns and the Nantes-Brest Canal runs just by the village offering walking and cycling routes. It is a 40 minute, easy drive, to the beautiful Morbihan coast with its Islands and variety of shoreline. Only 10 minutes away there is a wonderful lake with a sandy beach where many watersports are on offer including sailing, canoeing and waterskiing - with all the required equipment to hire. Overlooking the lake is an attractive golf course.
