Longere style house in the seaside and sailing mecca of la Trinite-sur-Mer in Morbihan, Southern Brittany. The house is located approx. 500 metres, easy walking distance, from the port, shops and restaurants.
Les Petits Chenes has three large bedrooms that can sleep 6, with two further single beds for use in the bedrooms if required, to sleep 8. It is located at the end of a cul-de-sac so is fairly quiet and is an easy walk to the town, market, shops, and restaurants. The beaches are also within walking distance (1km) or by car (2km/4km).
The house, built in 2002, has approx.170m² habitable area, has electric central heating and hot water, and is equipped and furnished to a very high standard. It has 4 bedrooms (but one bedroom is locked and used only by the owners - the owners do not use the house when let). All utility costs and end of stay cleaning are included in the weekly price from April to the end October. Utility charges are additional during the winter months. Linen is an optional extra charge for each bed used. Normal start day is Sunday but may be changed on request, dependant on availability. Damage deposit of £350 will be returned, if no damage, after end of stay cleaning completed.
The entrance hall is very spacious, open to the roof beams and the upstairs mezzanine style landing. There is a separate wc off the hall. On the ground floor there is 1 large bedroom (double bed - king size), with separate wc, and a large bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and washbasin unit. This bedroom opens onto a patio with table/chairs and external sun blind. Leading from the hall there is a fully equipped kitchen and utility room with access to the garden. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave etc. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, and drinks fridge.
The large lounge/dining area is accessed from the kitchen and the hall and has doors to the south patio with external electric sun blind and also the west patio and pergola. There is a dining table to seat 8, lounge chairs, and a woodburning stove, tv for French and English programmes, wi-fi etc.
There is an open tread staircase leading to the mezzanine style upstairs landing which overlooks the hall. Upstairs are 2 further large bedrooms with a shower room, bidet, washbasin unit and a separate wc. One bedroom has exposed beams and a double bed. The other bedroom has 2 single beds; there are a further two single beds with mattresses for use in this bedroom or the other upstairs bedroom. There is a delightful hall/landing with view to garden and inside to the extensive hall area.
In the separate garage; outdoor table tennis, a gas barbecue, and outdoor swing chair can be found. The garden is mainly lawn to the south, east and west with a number of areas to relax in, trees providing some shade. There is an outdoor table and chairs, and further outdoor chairs, and games in the lounge. The garden to the front (north) provides parking for 3/4 cars.
Large fully equipped kitchen and dining area seating 8 in large open lounge/dining area. Electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave etc. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and drinks fridge.
Large south facing lounge/dining room with access to garden and patios. Easy chairs, large rustic dining table and dresser. Wood burning stove and television (French and English). WIFI (free).
Three bedrooms - one downstairs and 2 upstairs. Two double (1 king size) and 1 with 2 single beds. Two further single beds are available for use in the upstairs bedrooms.

Hello, As we love this part of France we decided in 2000 to buy some land in La Trinite-Sur-Mer and to build a house to our design with the help of a local architect. It was a great experience and so we now have our ideal holiday home in our ideal location.

La Trinite-sur-Mer is a delightful small town and a mecca for sailing enthusiasts and learners alike. It is situated in Southern Brittany, in the Department of Morbihan, "entre mer et terre", between sea and land. The coastline is varied with the large surfing beaches of the Atlantic at Erdeven (15kms), the 'Cote Sauvage' on Quiberon, the Baie de Quiberon, with Carnac and la Trinite-sur-Mer, and the heritage site of the Gulf du Morbihan with its many islands and fast tides. Inland there are the impressive standing stones of megalithic times, and the rolling countryside of Morbihan. There are many things to see and do in la Trinite-Sur-Mer all year around as the sailing supports many activities. There are numerous walks, many beaches to explore, and the old towns of Vannes and Auray to visit. The local guides provide information on museums, tourist activities, and many different sports that can be enjoyed in the region.
