The newly renovated gite is approximately 120 years old and is attached to the owners longere but the gite has separate entrances to the front and rear of property. The rear garden is set in 2,000 square metres. The interior has been decorated in a traditional style with a mix of old and new.
On the ground floor of the gite there is a large kitchen/dining area with large table and Breton leather chairs. Step down to lounge area which provides two large sofa's and two armchairs, desk housing games and books, and a couple of small tables, tv/dvd player and music centre. It is very light and airy but cosy. A logburner has also been installed in the lounge area. The staircase is located in the middle of this room leading to the master bedroom and mezzanine. The large kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, new oven, microwave and fridge a separate small freezer is available if required. Wi-fi installed. Also selection of books and dvd discs.
All bedding and tea towels, tablecloths and towels provided.
The bathroom is located on ground floor through kitchen door and provides large shower, toilet, sink and cupboard which also houses the washing machine.
All rooms have been fitted with new electric heaters.
Large table, 6 dining chairs, 6 fitted floor level kitchen cupboards and 3 above kitchen work surface and a separate pine unit for storing wine and bread and table mats. Wi-fi is located to this part of the property. Picnic hamper and flask.
As stated above large curved french settee and 2 separate armchairs and a second sofa, shelf unit for books, couple of small tables, desk and old fashioned singer sewing machine stand which has been turned into a table to house the tv/dvd and sky box. Lots of games and file of brochures of places to visit and local restaurants etc and all nearby amenities.
The master bedroom has a double bed, 2 french marble topped bedside cabinets, dressing table with drawers, chair and wicker unit, clothes rail, and ottoman for storing clothes.
The mezzanine has 3 single beds, sofabed, wicker unit, table, lamp and small wardrobe with hanging space and shelves and a wooden chest for storage of clothes.
Large power shower, sink, toilet all in white, couple of wicker units for toiletries , toilet roll holder, linen basket, toilet and shower mat, large mirror, dressing gown pegs, wooden towel rail, chair and cupboard housing washing machine.
Logburner to the rear wall of the lounge area. New electric heaters to lounge and kitchen/diner area, and also in the master bedroom and mezzanine.

Favourite place for holidaymakers french and english. Old ruin, market every Sunday, restaurants, canal and river walks.
Will be emptied from May-Oct 2015, the first time since 1985 probably the last. Expected visitors in excess of 1 million to view the old buildings under the lake and the inspection of the barrage for maintenance.
