Lovely gite set in nice surroundings, with nice small lake and interesting fishing.Clean, bright, and very good "welcome" pack.Picturesque local area and good base to explore Brittany,"Everywhere's an Hour"!!
Ian and Frances very helpful ,but not "in your face".They have very good local knowledge and information in cottage is excellent.
Hot tub makes an interesting addition to a relaxing evening, sitting in it with a glass of wine and enjoying the stars.
I would cheerfully recommend this property to anyone wanting a break in Brittany.

We were made to feel very welcome by Ian and Frances who live in the house next door to the gite, they were helpful but not intrusive. The gite is clean and exceptionally well equipped. The food starter pack much appreciated.
The outside area has ample tables and chairs for alfresco dining, sun loungers and a hot tub, there is also a fishing lake. We spent evenings on one of two outside seating areas enjoying a glass of wine and the tranquillity of the large enclosed garden.
The location is minutes away from the village that has a small supermarket and a bakery, it is also ideal for exploring the many and varied places of interest that Brittany has to offer.
Enjoyed our holiday very much and would love to return soon

This gite is first class. Clean and comfortable. Francis & Ian were very helpful but not intrusive in any way. Having everything on one level was ideal for us as stairs are difficult for my husband.
Having the lake available to us for fishing was great. A lovely gite in a beautiful part of Brittany.

We can honestly say that in all of our years of self catering in various countries that this is the best property that we have ever been to, there is nothing that you could want for. The cottage was well described, well maintained and clean with a lovely welcome pack provided with the owners being welcoming and helpful. The village was lovely and the people helpful with a couple of places to eat and a small shop and the most delicious cake shop, lots of places to visit in the area as well, in particular we really liked the towns of Pontivy, Vannes and Auray and historically we liked the Abbaye Bon Repos. We took an overnight ferry from Plymouth, stopped for breakfast in Roscoff, then on to Morlaix for the Saturday market and then the very easy journey to the property. This property is a credit to the owners and we hope to make a return visitl

Owner response
