A charming detached stone cottage with 2 bedrooms, located in a quiet village in the peaceful countryside near Questembert and within easy reach of the ocean. There is a large enclosed garden with ample private parking and outdoor furniture. The cottage is newly renovated and has a high standard of furnishing and equipment.
The kitchen and dining area has exposed stone walls, a tiled floor and a large french oak table with 4 chairs and a long bench in front of the wood burning fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen including oven, separate hob, microwave and kettle.
The sitting area has a stocked bookcase, coffee table, tv/dvd/cd. There are 2 leather bucket chairs and a sofa. 2 windows provide views down the lane to the wooded valley.

Please note that the cottage has a traditional wooden staircase which may be unsuitable for small children and the infirm.

Plenty of cycling opportunities including the traffic-free 'voie verte' which can be accessed near to Questembert railway station. Bikes available for hire in Questembert and at Damgan (in season).
Large choice of places to dine in Questembert and the surrounding area. There is a Michelin starred restaurant in Questembert for those special occasions.
Questembert has covered market 'halles' dating from the 16th century Rocheforte en Terre, La Roche Bernard, La Vraie Croix and many other attractive villages are within easy reach.
The Gulf of Morbihan has fantastic sailing opportunities and many pleasure trips to the islands. The harbour at La Roche Bernard (trips on the Villaine) is about a 25 minutes drive. Canoe hire is available at several locations.
Miles of unspoilt beaches and attractive coastal paths are within an easy drive of the cottage through pleasant countryside.
