Estuary town with cobbled streets and medieval buildings leading down to river with a multitude of restaurants and cafe's. Very reminiscent of Clovelley in Cornwall.
Visit the chateau town of Josselin with its fairy tale chateau, market, and numerous cafe's and restaurants. The Guethenoc pizzeria / restaurant is very good. The Cafe de la Marie is a small friendly bar with a lovely lady owner. Market is on a Saturday morning.
Lorient is a coastal town approx 45 minutes up the N24. Close by is Lamour Plage with its beautiful beaches, coastal walks and beach side restaurants. Also close by is Hennebont a town with a medieval walled area.
Beautiful town on an estuary. Walled city with the walls almost complete, wonderful floral displays and lots of quayside restaurants in the harbour area.
Local town 10 minutes drive. Lac Au Duc has a golf course, and a beautiful lake with watersports for hire. Interesting shops and a pretty town centre.
Pretty town 10 minutes drive, heated outdoor and indoor swimming pools with jacuzzi. Lovely lake for walking and picnics next to the pool area. Ideal for children to run around.
We arrived to Le Peer on a cold January night but, we had no need to worry as the heating had been switched on for our arrival! Also available were mobile heater's along with dry wood in the wood shed for the log burner!
Le Peer was spotlessly clean, with everything (and more) needed for our stay.
Just a short drive away is the beautiful medieval town of Josselin, where can be found restaurant's, bar's, shops etc. On the outskirts of Josselin are two supermarkets (Super-U and Leclerc) which stock a full range of produce. An hours drive away and you will come across the stunning beaches of Morbihan and of course Vannes which is not to be missed.
A big thank you to Clive and his team for our wonderful stay. We will certainly be recommending Le Peer to family and friends.
