Hi, I am Sylvia. I am a teacher and I live and work in Belfast. I have a family of sons and we all enjoy an active and outdoor lifestyle when weather permits. One of my favourite pursuits is hiking and to enjoy the beauty of landscape. At home I devote Saturdays to walking the Mournes or our coasts and in France I find beautiful places to explore in sunshine and warmth.<br/>

|Why this location?||Over the years the extended Hodgins family has enjoyed holidays in many parts of France. Under the influence of the older generation who loved all things French, together we travelled widely throughout the country. We first came across the Morbihan and La Roche Bernard around 20 years ago. With a fairly young family and a French speaking mum-in-law we spent a memorable few days on the town's small campsite en route back home via Cherbourg. Many things struck us about the town, not least the friendly nature of the people of the people we encountered. The town and the area grew on us and somehow or other we would visit for a few days on every subsequent holiday. When the family decided to invest in a property in France some years ago there wasn't really a decision to be made - La Roche Bernard had won our hearts. The warmth of the summer, the beaches, the coastal paths, the islands, the river Vilaine, the lovely countryside, the food, the outdoor living.... South Brittany has it all.|
