We loved staying in this beautiful house and garden. It was spacious inside and out, surrounded by peaceful countryside which provided great views and a private setting. The kitchen had everything you could want and the interior layout was novel and tastefully decorated. There was also plenty to amuse our 7 year old - a lovely pool as well as table tennis and badminton.

It's also only 30 mins drive from a fantastic beach in Damgan. We mostly self catered but had a few great lunches at Beef Burger on beach days.

We thoroughly recommend renting this place!

Lovely old house in a stunning area.
The property was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Penny and Julian, the local managers of the property introduced themselves and maintained the pool during our stay and were on hand if any problems were to arise.
The swimming pool was very welcome when the afternoon temperatures rose to over 30 degrees and the house was surprisingly cool inside during the hot weather.
The surrounding area is stunning with Rochefort-en-Terre only a short distance away and numerous places within easy travelling distance. We would recommend seeing Auray, Guerande and Le Croisic if time allows.
There is a wide choice of restaurants in Rochefort-e-Terre but the kitchen at the house is well equipped if you want to self-cater.
Overall we had a most enjoyable stay and would certainly return to this property when visiting the area.

Vales is a fantastic gite in a peaceful and very beautiful location. Wonderful pool and excellent house that is very well looked after. I’m sure we’ll be back to this idyllic corner of Brittany.

This is a lovely Gite in a rural location. The gite is very well equipped with a good selection of kitchen equipment. The gite was very clean and the swimming pool was a lovely way to spend the late afternoon and there is a large garden to enjoy. There are plenty of tourist attractions nearby which are worth visiting especially the village of Rochefort en Terre which has many good creperies and restaurants.
