Bright and charming country side cottage located just a 10-minute drive from one of Southern Brittany’s most beautiful sandy beaches and the city of Lorient.
The property is in a very quiet area creating a peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful 50,000sq. ft. fruit garden securely protected behind an electric gate.
Activities available in the area include: sailing, kite surfing, diving, horse-riding, trekking and many more. A supermarket, bakery, crêperie and other local amenities are available in the local village, 5mn drive from the house.
A welcome basket with local products and delicacies including Breton cider will be waiting for you on arrival.
The property comprises 3 eating areas, 2 inside and one outside.
Inside the living/ dining room has a large table which can accomodate all 10 guests; the kitchen can accommodate a couple of guests for a quick snack and the terrace outside has tables for everyone to enjoy the warm Brittany sunshine.
The kitchen is equipped with all amenities: oven, gas stove/hob, sink, microwave, fridge, small tv, pans, plates, cutlery.
The living room is very spacious and has comfortable couches/sofas for everyone to enjoy. A large flat tv screen can be used for movies or news with channels from all over the world available. Last but not least a warm wood stove cast iron burner will keep you warm in case of a cold night (or central heating) or maybe if you just want to enjoy watching a nice fire burn in the evening.
The property has 5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and 1 downstairs.
Upstairs: 3 double beds in 3 separate rooms and a twin room with two single beds in another room
Downstairs is the last room which has a double bed as well.
All double beds can comfortably fit 2 adults
There are 3 bathrooms in the property. Two upstairs and 2 semi bathrooms downstairs.
Upstairs are fully equipped bathrooms with shower/bathtub, toilet and sink.
Downstairs are 2 toilets, one with a sink
Eco friendly central heating is available in the property and is adjustable at the touch of a finger.
Alternatively a warm wood stove cast iron burner will keep you warm in case of a cold night.
The property with its huge garden has a lot to offer with swings for kids, hammocks for everyone to enjoy, bbq and a fish pond; in the warm summer months you will be able to enjoy kilograms of cherries and other fruits from the large fruit garden located behind the house.
Inside the property board games, tv, dvd player, internet are all available for everyone to enjoy
The property has a gigantic garden which can be seen on one of the aerial picture. Ideal for kids and pets, or for adults in need of a bbq its large spaces will give you a guaranteed sense of freedom and calm.
The fruit trees at the back of the property are a great addition during the summer months. We challenge anyone to try finish the dozens of kilograms the cherry trees provide!
A covered parking area which can accomodate 2 cars is available. Parking for up to 6 cars is available
