L’Écurie is a real 'Chocolate box' house in all aspects. It has a magnificent sitting room with oak beams and impressive cathedral ceiling. There is a huge granite fireplace which was once in a local abbey. There are comfortable sofas and armchairs, and beautiful Breton antique furniture which gives the room a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. A rear door leads out on the garden with glorious far reaching views over fields and forests towards the local chateau.
Wi-fi internet access is available in the cottage.
The living area is 185 sq m measured according to french regulations.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee-maker and toaster. A stable door leads out onto the private terrace with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The terrace, with garden furniture, parasol and barbecue, leads onto a large open garden area.
The dining area normally seats 6 around the old oak table but as the room is so spacious, it can easily be rearranged to seat up to 30 people - ideal for extended families and groups of friends renting the whole hamlet.
The living room is one of the spectacular features of this house with its grand fireplace and comfortable seating.
There is English or French satellite tv, a dvd player and a stereo cd/radio/cassette player that you can connect to your music storage. A large selection of dvds is available to borrow from the library in the hamlet's gamesroom.

Upstairs is a cinema room with a 55inch screen where guests can watch a film or view their holiday photos and films for example. There is a well equipped dvd library.

Lucile (French nationality) and husband Barry (British) have been living in Brittany for 7 years in our own hamlet of 6 XVII Century cottages 4 of which are equiped for luxury holidays. The hamlet is in a stunningly beautiful location in the River Blavet valley. Each cottage sleeps 5 or 6 people. The beaches of the South Brittany coast are within easy access. We love walking, cycling, sailing and socialising. <br/>We have a very friendly dog who loves children.

|Why this location?||We had very many family holidays on the south coast of Brittany near Carnac with our children, and never discovered the stunning beauty of the countryside just a few miles inland. The River Blavet is so unspoilt, and full of beauty and surprises as soon as you start walking or cycling along it. The local villages have so much character, and we have found the Breton people to be very friendly and welcoming.|
|Unique benefits of property||Le Gohic is one of the prettiest hamlets in Brittany. Our arriving guests tell us that the pictures never do it justice, and our departing guests tell us they wish they had booked another week, and they'd like to take our dog back home with them!
The 50 square metre heated swimming pool is always a popular feature.
Parents can relax in the knowledge that their children are safe playing in the grounds.
The cottages are maintained and equipped to a high standard.
To summarise - Location and Relaxation!
Poul Fetan is a hamlet similar in many ways to Le Gohic, which has been restored as a working village museum. It is one of the top tourist attractions in the region, and is just the other side of Quistinic village, a beautiful 15 minute drive away.
Crepes are a local Breton speciality, and one of the best creperies in the region is a short walk down the lane from Le Gohic. On the walk down you can enjoy the stunning views, and an the walk back up you can work off some of the calories!
