Excellent value for money - the owners were really helpful and went the extra mile with a cot and high chair for us. They even kept the pool open for an extra week for us. The property was well maintained and was perfectly clean. Would highly recommend.
Had a wonderful stay at La Petite Botte from 25/08/18 to 01/09/18. Annie and Roger were wonderful hosts, giving us an initial tour and then leaving us to enjoy the peace and tranquility of our surroundings. Although always on hand to offer their advice.
The setting and the cottage were just perfect in every way. The peace and relaxation were just what we were searching for. The local area very picturesque and amenities good and close by.
We cannot wait to book another break here in the near future.
Hi Alison and Dave, thank you so much for your wonderful review. It would be great to have you stay again.
This is a little bit of French heaven. It's so peaceful and quiet - the only occasional sounds are from the rooster over the road and the 2 donkeys in the field behind, just perfect. St Nicolas des Eaux is a lovely scenic little village, the river area is stunning.
Annie and Roger are perfect hosts, leaving you to enjoy the little gite, but on hand to help with anything at any time.
To find somewhere so dog friendly is wonderful, we knew we could leave the dogs in the beautiful landscaped gardens whilst we cooked dinner as the garden is fully enclosed.
It is exactly as the pictures on the site show, we are already checking our diaries to make a return visit - there are so many places to visit from the gite, we could never be bored staying at La Petite Botte.
We had a great week with comfortable and private surroundings.
Good value for money and friendly helpful owners.
