The Owner Recommends

25 minutes drive from the propertie brings you into a picturesque town with lots of character situated on a river, with plenty of shops where you can buy local products. Or if you prefer to eat in the local bars and cafe's or maybe take the family swimming in a pool where they can have fun down the water slides or just swim.

Etang du Dordu

5 mins drive or if you prefer to walk it's a 30min walk. Small area for the children to play, or fishing available and in the season a local cafe is available for drinks and ice creams.

20 min drive brings you into an old French town. Where on a Tuesday morning they have a local market, selling local products. Again an area for eating and drinking or your general shopping.

Lac de Guerledan

20 minutes drive, takes you to beautiful lake Guerledan where you can swim, rent a pedalo, relax on the beach, or maybe take a boat trip around the lake and finish with a well earned coffee.

Less than an hours drive away is the local zoo. Normally opens most of the year, a great day out for the familly.

5 minutes drive from the cottage is the village of Langoelan which offers two restaurants, a bar, also a village shop where you can buy your bread or any essential needs. There is a pizzeria offering meats and pasta also and is a great family restaurant. Plus a bistro offering French cuisine an easy walking distance from the Dordu lac.

About 10 minute from the propertie. It's a very old fashion village with local shops and restaurants.
There is also the thing they call "Jeudi de Guémené" (Guemene's thursdays) and there is music, food and drinks very nice to see. It's only during the summer.
