My husband and I are at last living the dream in beautiful Brittany. We sold our home and invested in a new life in France providing holidays for people and those searching for their French Property. We are passionate about gardening, along with good food and wine, nothing better then soaking up the atmosphere outside on a summer eve with a glass of something! We like to walk in the countryside and enjoy the scenery and wildlife, which is literally on our doorstep, what more can you ask for!

This medieval town has a beautiful chateau built around the 11th century, which has guided tours in the summer months. There is a lively market in the cobbled streets every Saturday morning.
The Nantes-Brest canal is very beautiful and picturesque, lots of walking or cycling to be had, course fishing, hiring of canal boats, not forgetting the nature side of things, so don't forget your camera and take piccies of ducks, herons, water voles, dragon flies etc.
The Jardin aux papillons (butterfly centre) is fascinating to see for all ages, learn about the life cycle of the butterfly whilst magnificent butterflies fly freely around you in a tropical jungle, some are huge!
The Aquarium has an excellent collection of marine life including a live Alligator that was found in the Paris sewers! All sorts of small and amazingly coloured fish, including a Nemo section which is great for the kids!
As they are next to each other, you can buy a family ticket for both which is better value.
As well as being a pretty town with a dramatic weir, every summer there is an open air photographic exhibition with literally hundreds of full size photos installed on the walls and along the cobbled streets focusing on the environment of the world.
Voted “prettiest village in France” in 2015. With its cobbled streets, beautiful geraniums everywhere. The church with its abundance of stunning stained glass windows, amazing colours, it is a must see on your holiday agenda!
A stunning and picturesque port with hundred of boats to look at, with often exhibitions along the quayside.

End cottage of a pretty terrace of three. Old but walls thick enough for there to be no sound transference. Interior is to a very high standard and fully equipped (much more than usual). More like a Airbnb. Very quiet virtually no traffic noise
Tricky to find first time as Sat Nav leads to wrong road but access very easy and good parking.
Facilities marked down one point because we though a couple of sun loungers would make it perfect and WiFI didn't connect but we understood that this was to be reconfigured.
Location is about 4 miles from either of two villages so actually nothing "local" but either village has restaurants and supermarket so not real problem - we travel further than that when at home.
Numerous pretty villages, chateaus and castles all with 30 mile radius with Vannes being about 30mins.
Much to recommend little to gripe about Good value for money
