About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Diane Reeves

Hi from your hosts James & Diane . We`ve lived in France for 30 years , and have holidayed for many years here before that. Having been seduced by the people ,lifestyle, countryside and the wonderful food we just had to move here permanently.

Year property purchased 2018
Why this location? La Roche Bernard is a great centre for couples or families who want as many activities as they can fit in , or to slow right down and just enjoy the wonderful river or coastal walks . Of coarse you will eat well too ! Beaches at Penestin are our favourite with a coastal walk up on the cliffs. The beautiful `Briere` park is just south where you can hire a punt or have a guide around the canals. Guerande, no far, is a walled , moated medieval town , great for a visit and then on to Le Croisic and it`s Marais salant ( for your sea salt ) and a stroll along the working fishing port. South again is the magnificent crescent beach of La Baule and Le Pouliguen marina ( Sun. morning market ) . To the north is Vannes and it`s pretty old town and a bit further is the spectacular 6000 year old standing stones of Carnac . La Roche Bernard being placed next to the Vilaine has boat/canoe hire , as well as electric boats ,and trips down the river to Arzal or take a gourmet cruise!
Unique benefits of property KERESHIA is ideally situated right next to the old port of La R- B , in a quiet private cul de sac , yet only mins.from bars and restaurants , and the town. The House is a modern 3 bedroom , with double , twin and a single on first floor , all with hanging/storage space and armchairs . Also bathroom with WC ,shower and basin . Ground floor consists of a through lounge with Freesat TV, dining area and kitchen with WC adjacent to front door . Also there is access to a games room/ utility with table tennis table and washing machine. Patio doors at rear go out to paved garden area and a shaded space with tables and chairs and a BBQ.
