Set at the end of a peaceful country lane, this beautiful apartment is surrounded by a 2 hectare garden, with lawns and mature trees, orchards, swimming pool, patio and offers un obstructed views of the surrounding countryside.
The village of Inguiniel, with boulangerie, bar and shop is a 3 minute drive, and the town of Plouay, with all amenities, is an 8 minute drive.
This light and airy home has recently been tastefully converted into a modern 3 bedroomed apartment, whilst keeping the character of the original property, with stone interiors and oak beams.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and a microwave oven. There is a beautiful teak dining table and chairs in the open plan area.
The living room has leather sofas and comfy seating, a HD tv with video player. Beautiful views across the gardens from the huge arched window.
There are two double bedrooms and a bedroom with single bunks beds (constructed from the old oak beams in the original Manor House.)
Two luxurious bathrooms (one en suite), both equipped with Italian tiles, and modern fittings.
The en suite bathroom has a walk in shower, wc, hand basin, bidet and wc.
The family bathroom has a bath (with shower over), hand basin, wc and bidet.
Underfloor heating for the cooler months.
A Finnish sauna with wetroom, wc, plus a bar/games room with pool table, darts and tv.
There is a large terrace leading from the games room, and a salt water heated pool with sun loungers and parasols. A bbq is provided on the terrace.
The games room, sauna and pool are shared with the Manor House next door.

The adjoining Manor house can also be booked if you have a large number in your party. The Manor house sleeps up to 8 people.
Malcolm & Jill Sterry bought the property in 2004 and renovated from scratch.<br/>They have fulfilled their dream, and now have an exceptional house & garden. Malcolm regularly travels the world as his job as an engineer; in fact much of the furniture in the house comes from his time in Sri Lanka.

|Why this location?||They looked at many locations to buy but it was the character of the house and the tranquil setting which sold it for them, the bird song in the garden and the wildlife regularly visit the property (deer, fox, birds etc).|

Ten minutes from the house is Guémené-sur-Scorff; a picturesque town with cobbled streets, quaint houses and ruined chateau walls. The town has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, (offering great food) and a cinema which sometimes shows English films.
On the coast you will find hundreds of beaches; (both in Morbihan and Finistere), including the large resort of Carnac, home to the largest collection of prehistoric standing stones in the world, as well as superb beaches with sailing facilities and a health spa.
Just 40 minutes away is the Lac de Guerledan, which has leisure activities for every member of the family. With beautiful landscapes and forests it is a haven for walkers, ramblers, mountain bikers and horse riders. The watersports centre includes dinghies, canoes, rowing-boats, pedalos and water-skiing, plus there are good restaurants which are well worth the visit. The lakes' sandy beaches are ideal for children with safe swimming and outdoor cafes to enable the less active to enjoy the view without expending too much energy.
The surrounding area provides fantastic countryside for ramblers as well as ample opportunity for fishing, plus two nearby lakes for windsurfing kayaking and other watersports.
For your children you will find pony clubs, zoos and mazes only a short drive away.
We have plenty of well signposted country walks within the immediate area of Le Deran and beyond. Local maps are provided in the gite There is plenty of choice for cycling: towpaths besides the Blavet, along quiet country lanes, or through woodland & villages.
Other interesting towns to visit are Quimper, Concarneau, Auray, Port Louis, Vannes, and Josselin, to name but a few. A visit to a French market is a must whilst you are here; to buy fresh local produce, such as seafood, cheeses, bread, or just to soak up the atmosphere.
Watersports are available on local on rivers, inland lakes and reservoirs or by the coast. These include canoeing and kayaking, rowing, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, sand-karting and jet skiing.
A superb area for fishing enthusiasts, offering over 28 local fishing areas such as the River Blavet, the Nantes-Brest canal & River Scorff. All types of angling is catered for.
There are some lovely golf courses in the region, including; Val Quevan. (45 mins), Saint Laurent (1 hour), Baden (1 hour), Ploemeur-Ocean (1 hour), Rhys-Kerver (1 hour 35mins), Le Lac au Duc (50 mins). These courses are owned by a management company called Blue Green. It is possible to become a member for a month during the summer for €150 approx. During September it is €169 for two weeks. This allows you to play unlimited golf on all the Blue Green courses for no additional charge. There are 24 Blue Green courses in Brittany alone. Membership can be bought at any of the Blue Green courses. Each club has competitions that one can enter for a small additional fee. Most of the competitions are on Sundays.
