My name is Carolynn and I have just moved to France with my husband Richard and our golden retriever Evie to this beautiful area of Brittany.
We have always loved France and have spent most of our family holidays here, before making the move permanently this year.
While we are new to the gite business, we are receiving massive support from the previous owners Kim and Didier, so rest assured if you have stayed at Bot Coet Cottages before, you will find it just as relaxing and charming

|Why this location?||We just love Brittany, and this area in particular. Bot Coet is in the beautiful, rural South Brittany countryside. With so much to do - walks from the door, and many more in the local area, including Lac Guerledan; visits to historic towns like Pontivy; castles in Josselin; market day in Hennebont; amazing scenery in Huelgoat and much more. Then there is the coast – an easy day trip to the beautiful coastline and beaches, islands, standing stones etc, then return from the bustle back to the tranquillity of Bot Coet.
Or if you want, you can just relax and recharge your batteries with all we have to offer on site.
|Unique benefits of property||Beautiful gites in a peaceful setting, with shared heated pool and glorious landscaped gardens to relax in, as well as the private garden/area for each cottage.
We also have a gamesroom with pool table, table tennis, table football and darts for the more energetic, and a badminton/football area to let off steam. The cottages are homely and welcoming, with all you will need to recharge your batteries and recover from the rigours of daily life!
Walks from the door, through woods and fields and by rivers, with views overlooking the valley, local bread ovens and general peacefulness!
Other favourite walks include round le Fauoet, Lac Guerledan, les Roches du Diable and many more!
Locally Lac Guerledan is a beautiful place to visit - stunning views, cafes, restaurants, walks, cycle routes, and lots of options to enjoy in the water too - fishing, boating, wake boarding, pedaloes, water skiing, canoeing and of course swimming.
We have many mediaeval towns and villages in the area -with canals, castles, pretty medieaval streets, markets, boating - lovely places to explore and experience the laid back french lifestyle.
The beautiful brittany coast line is less than an hour away. With glorious sandy beaches, marinas, coves and islands to explore. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the coast, then return back to the tranquility of Bot Coet.
