Sleeps 4 This lovely stone cottage shares facilities with three other cottages on this pretty complex near Rochefort-en-Terre.

For larger groups of 12-14 this cottage can be combined with Flower Cottage (sleeping 8)


Rochefort en Terre is only one kilometre from the house so it can easily be reached by foot or by one of the available bikes. It is a beautiful town dating back to 12th century. It has its very own chateau, with restaurants, creperies, shops selling local produce, pottery and there is a medieval church and antique shops and is certainly a must see for all passing tourists.

The local lake is only a short minute walk away which has a small beach and you can hire pedaloes and there is supervised swimming in summer. Around the lake you will find tennis, picnic areas, a BMX course and fishing. There is also a restaurant and bar there. 15 minutes away you will find a nine hole golf course and same distance is Questembert, which is famous for its covered 15th century market place. There are also some fine restaurants here, one has a two rose rating from Michelin. 30 minutes away is Vannes, one beautiful medieval walled city and well worth a visit, especially on Mondays and Saturdays when the markets are there!

The kitchen is fully fitted and fully equipped including dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge, Nespresso machine and microwave with exposed stone walls and access to the patio which has a table, chair and a BBQ and the gardens beyond lead to the swimming pool.

The living space is bright and airy and open plan with wood burning stove, huge French windows, original ironwork features and exposed beams.


Upstairs there is one double bedroom and one twin room.

100% it has been been outstanding. Les Fleurs is in a perfect location, it is a large home which is well maintained and clearly cherished by the owner. The fact that the owner was available, but very discrete, was a real bonus, it was very helpful to have someone so knowledgeable about the area - gave us lots of little tips! Of course, the pool was just great, as promised by SBC, and we spent huge chunks of our time each day in it! A fabulous holiday experience for the whole family, in every possible way!
