We actually stayed in the entire house and not just the studio room. There was plenty of room in the property and we had a great time visiting the local attractions. The only downside to the property is the narrow winding staircase, apart from that it was very well equipped, lots of bedrooms, lots of space, the swimming pool was cold because it has no heating, but actually we did not mind that. The kitchens are well equipped and everything was nice and clean. Constant supply of hot water and the showers were excellent too. Use of the laundry room has to be paid for at approximately 3 euros for every use of the washing machine. The local shops were approximately 5 miles away and need to be reached by either car or cycling. It is too far to walk, but the shops are well equipped and there is a local patisserie and good fresh food including a petrol station. There is a games room in the basement of the house for kids to play in and there are some lovely walks to go on around the lake that surrounds the house. The owners are very helpful, pleasant and a lot of fun. We would recommend the property although consider the winding narrow staircase for little children, toddlers etc., but I would suggest contacting the owners to find out more. There are a few good restaurants in the local towns but the kitchen is so big in the property that we had more enjoyment eating at the house than we did going to the restaurants. The local food from the shops is excellent and you can have a really decent meal for 12-20 euros including wine, although the restaurants charge about 15 euros per person with no wine. You can only obtain wifi if you are in the main kitchen, it is not available anywhere else in the house. The telephone signal is not good in the area either unless you are in the top of the house. We had a very happy stay here and we will certainly consider going again.
