We had a wonderful week at Le Manoir with our 3 adult children and partners. It's a lovely house if a bit shabby French inside. It comfortably fitted us both inside and out. The grounds, swimming pool and layout were very good. Lee and Ruth were particularly helpful, warm and accommodating. It was a pleasure to meet them.We loved the peaceful countryside and exploring quaint towns such as Quintan and Moncontour. Location wise it best suits people who are happy to tour around and to eat in. It's a beautiful spot but it is very quiet. We were happy to swim and relax and potter out on a few days. We had two meals out. The 'kids' enjoyed playing boules and water polo and using the board games inside. It was relaxing for a multi generational holiday. The pool was spotless. There is a fabulous lake nearby where you can hire kayaks.

We are all tall so in honesty we found the beds too short for us. The wifi and phone signal did not work consistently which was a problem for my son who had to keep going out to find phone signal and wifi to contact his office. However that would possibly be a bonus for some so is not a criticism but it is worth knowing.

We would definitely visit again and would like to explore more of Brittany.
