Free festivals of music and dance are held throughout the area during June - September. We can supply details or just look out for the many posters.

|Why this location?||We had been holidaying all over France for around 14 years before we decided to buy our own holiday house. Every holiday always started or ended in Brittany and when we found our house we realised it was only a few miles from where we spent part of our honeymoon - so that sealed the deal! Moving to Lescoat brought us even closer to that spot - and it is as breath taking as ever.|
|Unique benefits of property||Lescoat is quiet, calm and above all safe for children. However, only minutes away you will find the bustle of our lovely village, which has everything you need (including its own cinema), a fabulous Sunday market, and regular free festivals throughout the summer. Turn in the other direction and you have your choice of fabulous uncrowded beaches and spectacular scenery. It is the best of all worlds. You can cycle, walk or ride on the many quiet lanes and walkways, or you can indulge in all kinds of water sports, play tennis, golf, or just relax away from the stresses of work and busy towns.|
Try eating in one of the many restaurants that provide for the local workers. Fantastic value at around 10 Euros for 4 courses plus wine and coffee. Well worth a visit.
These are to Brittany what Pizza is to Italy. Fill it with whatever you fancy and it is a meal in a packet - try our local restaurant - Avel Zo or try making your own. We will show you how to make them and then try it yourself - a great evening at home in our outdoor kitchen.

One of the highlights of a trip to this area is the Fruits de Mer. If you love seafood, this is for you. It can cost a fortune, but try making your own, or let us provide one for you as a special treat - or we have just discovered a fabulous restaurant where a 3 course dinner with Plateau de Fruit de Mer is only 18 Euros - and with an additional lobster to yourself, only 25 Euros. Well worth a visit.
Kig ar Farz - what is it - well you need a big appetite because over and above all else you get a whole ham hock to yourself...... our local restaurant offers this up on a daily basis during the summer.
There is so much to see and do in Brittany that it is hard to put it all down on this website. But tell us your interests, ages of the people in your group and we will tailor make a list of things to do whilst you are here - from children's activities to more adult pursuits - our holidays suit everyone.
We have had a super holiday at this wonderful accommodation in northern Brittany. We were made very welcome on arrival and there were nice touches in the accommodation such as washing up liquid etc. toilet paper and milk, fruit juice and cider etc. the advert description accurately described the property.
The property was spotlessly clean and fresh.
Customer service was excellent nothing was too much trouble.
I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.
We were very pleased that la poulain was within a five minute drive to the nearest town with a good supermarket and local shops. There is a large street market on sundays.
There are some beautiful beaches nearby and lovely walks and good attractions such as chateaux and a play park at parc du radome.
We'd love to return there.
