|Apartment des Tisserands||Self Catering||Flexible||1||3||1||Sofabed|
Apartment des Tisserands is a characterful and tastefully decorated apartment in a wonderful location – next to the River Rance in the heart of the old port of Dinan. Forming part of an imposing old stone house and former tannery, the apartment has been recently upgraded, fitted out and decorated but has retained its character with beams, a granite fireplace and lime jointed stone walls.
With a garden giving direct access to the river and towpath, the apartment is perfectly placed to enjoy medieval Dinan. A short walk across the old stone bridge brings you to a number of good riverside restaurants, bistros, cafes and a good baker. The area is ideal for cycling, walking and there is also canoe hire available at the end of the street.
Access to the apartment is from a quiet side street, with a separate private entrance.
Entering the apartment, there is a spacious double bedroom with a bathroom with bath (with shower and showerscreen), wc and basin. Well equipped kitchen and living area with sofabed leading to a private garden with river access.
Open plan living, dining and kitchen area with access to garden.
Living area with English satellite Freeview tv and sofabed for 2.
Spacious and light double bedroom.
Bath with shower screen and shower, basin.

You can reach several sandy family beaches in about 30 minutes - we like the beaches at Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, Saint-Malo, Lancieux and St Enogat.
This free Jazz event takes place all over Dinan for a couple of days every summer, with musicians coming from all over the world to play live.
All over France, towns (including Dinan) play host to a wide range of musicians and groups of every genre. They play in bars, in parks, on the streets and in squares, and fill the area with a buzzing atmosphere. A free event taking place in mid to late June ,a good night out for all the family.
Un-missable medieval festival in Dinan taking place once every 2 years in the third week in July.
A well established and popular event, with jousting, medieval balls, markets, concerts and much more.
Next festival scheduled for 2020.
Ideally situated for us to enjoy the locality without having to drive too much. The apartment was very comfortable and the service was excellent. We loved being by the river and enjoyed balancing some self catering with the pleasures of the local restaurant L'Ami Louis.
Lovely property, just as expected from the description. Having the garden attached to this apartment is such a bonus as we were able to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the old port. Owners were very helpful and I would highly recommend this property.
We're both very glad you enjoyed the apartment and the garden , and your feedback makes our efforts worthwhile. Look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
