Its a small cottage but its very cozy and has a lovely feel to it. The village is very unique as its got many historical buildings in it and its a lovely place to walk around on a summers evening.
We can provide camping cot, highchair, stairgate's, etc for a toddler or baby.
My husband and I bought the cottage about 11 years ago. We decided to move to Gouarec just over three years ago, and the first thing we did was completely renovate the cottage, but we wanted to keep its original character and charm so we kept as many natural features as was possible during the renovation with great succes, I think.<br/>The village has stayed unspoilt, is a lovely friendly place to have a holiday, especially as its nestled on the banks of the Nantes/Brest canal.

|Why this location?||As I've said before the village is unspoilt, as it has been for many years, with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday, bars, cafe's, restaurants, baker, small supermarket, bank, post office, you don't need to drive anywhere, it's all in our
little village. You have access onto the banks of the canal, with lovely spots along the way for cycling, fishing, and of course pic-nicking.
|Unique benefits of property||Its right in the centre of the oldest part of the village with lovely old buildings surrounding you. Its very near the "HALLES" which in the summer have lots of things going on, musicians, dancers etc.|
Centrally situated for day trips to the pink granite or emerald coasts, just 30 minutes drive away.
A short cycle ride or drive brings you to the Abbeye Bon Repos, lovely spot for a picnic set on the banks of the Nantes/Brest canal. There are several places to hire bicycles.
There is crazy golf, and soon to open a new swimming pool.
Walking, cycling, fishing, historic places to visit for example Pont Aven, Concarneau, etc.
The Lac de Guerladan which offers walking, sailing, kayaking and water sports, with beautiful picnic spots and many man-made beaches dotted around the lake, just the thing to cool you down on a sunny day.
Loved the gite, loved the village, loved the whole area- particularly the cycle paths. The Nantes-Brest Canal is stunning and relatively easy for cycling.
The hosts, who live next door, were most welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
We can highly recommend it
Thanks for a lovely review, it was nice to meet you. We're happy you enjoyed staying in our cottage and that you feel the same as we do about our Village.
