We have always loved France, but fell in love with this house and area as soon as we saw it in 2006. We have enjoyed many wonderful holidays here ourselves, as well as letting it to friends and more recently with Holiday France Direct.

|Why this location?||We love the peaceful tranquillity, as well as the ease of access to so many interesting places both coastal and inland. Our guests say the same, as can be seen from the reviews on TripAdvisor.|
|Unique benefits of property||Great for extended parties of families and friends - lots to do at the house and loads of space for everybody to relax and unwind.|
The North Brittany Coast has many superb beaches, and one of the best can be found at Pleneuf Val Andre (about 45 minutes drive away), with a vast sandy beach, selection of bars and restaurants and a coastal path for some great walks.
Less than 2km from the house, on the way into Laurenan, you can join the "Voie Verte 6", which is an old railway track crossing central Brittany. You can cycle or walk for as far as you want in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.
The indoor pool at Loudeac has a large water-slide, lazy river, toddlers' pool and a separate pool reserved for serious swimmers - something for everyone!
Officially "a small town of character" and a "tourist resort in a natural setting", Jugon-les-Lacs is well worth a visit. The old town has some excellent restaurants, and the long, beautiful lake provides watersport possibilities.
Dinan (about 40 minutes' drive away) is a lovely medieval town and well worth a visit. Don't miss the old river port, and if you can, go on a Thursday morning to visit the excellent market.
The open-air swimming pool at Merdrignac, complete with water-slide, toddlers' pool and sunbathing lawn is a superb place to visit on a sunny summer's day. If you are feeling particularly active, you can cycle along the old railway cycle track straight to the pool.
Just 200 metres from the house is the start of an old Roman road, providing lovely wooded walks.
