I live in London and work full time running my own business which is an agency selling European art publishing products to retail chains. I am bilingual. I love the outdoor lifestyle, swimming, cycling, and dance. I am also a member of 3 choirs and I love cooking (and eating!).

|Why this location?||We fell in love with the countryside here and the beaches. And of course the house is so easy and pleasant to get to using Brittany Ferries.|
|Unique benefits of property||The privacy offered by the house is wonderful. In the summer you can relax in the pool and garden and rest assured that you will not be overlooked or disturbed. In the winter, the house just has such a cosy relaxing feel, with the beautiful wood burner and the hi-spec spacious kitchen. There are many times when we have booked to stay there for 5 days and actually lengthened our stay for a couple more days as we weren't ready to leave yet! Another benefit is that this was our home before we decided to let it out, so it has been lovingly maintained and all the kitchen equipment, bathroom fittings and furniture are high quality and hi-spec as opposed to cheap fittings bought for rental purposed only. This enhances the quality of our guests' experience.|
Many beaches within 30 mins drive. Erquy, Binic, Dinard, Pleneuf Val Andre and St Quay Portreux.
Mont St Michel and St Malo's walled city and beaches Dinan, Dinard, and Lamballe. Visit the D-day beaches and monuments on your way from Caen ferry or on the way back.
Visit Lamballe's bustling market and sit down for a drink and snack al fresco with the locals at trestle tables in the evening on market days.
You can order a seafood platter from the bigger supermarkets in Lamballe: langoustine, prawns, oysters, winkles, cockles, brown shrimp. They will prepare it for you to pick up later in the week. The best time to eat seafood is when there is an "R" in the month, so avoid May, June, July, August if possible.
Great restaurants to visit at Pleneuf Val Andre, Lamballe, Dinan and all the local towns, or go native and try out the exceptionally good value set meals in one of the nearby "restaurants routiers".
Les Clossiaux is a completely relaxing, totally private house and garden and is perfect for unwinding.
We spent a lovely time, that went by far too quick at Les Clossiaux. The area is great within reach of
many attractive places to visit, especially Lamballe and Dinan. Spent many hours in the pool on site especially last two days when temperatures soared. Would recommend this to any one.
Many thanks Pearl, for your lovely review.
Please do come back again another year!
All the best, Emma.
The house is beautiful and in a perfect setting, just as described. It is stylish, comfortable and has enough living space for everyone to enjoy. It is perfectly sited for either visiting local towns and attractions or the many beaches nearby. St Malo and Dinan are really lovely towns to visit, and the beaches around Val Andre are excellent. Dinard is also close by and worth a visit.
