We purchased our 19th Century Breton farmhouse in April 2014 with its accompanying outbuildings ripe for renovation. We moved to Brittany permanently in July 2014 and that's when the work really started. We renovated an existing, but rather outdated gite to a very high standard. We have cleared the garden which is very beautiful but in parts is still a work in progress.<br/>The main house is in the centre of the plot with the gardens stretching to an acre wrapping around the property.

|Why this location?||Our location offers an ideal base for touring Brittany and exploring its architecture, beautiful beaches, ancient monuments (menhirs) and maritime history. The Pink Granite Coast is so-called because of the colour of its rocks, is one of the most beautiful stretches of Brittany's coastline. The area is renowned for its unusual rock formations, the best of which can be found on the coastal path between Perros Guirec and the port of Ploumanac'h.|
|Unique benefits of property||We are lucky to be located in beautiful, tranquil countryside whilst only a five minute drive from the working town of Bégard with its shops, banks, supermarkets, artisan boulangerie (Moël), bars and restaurants. There is a weekly Friday morning market (0830-1230) offering local and organic produce. The nearest beaches are only 30 minutes by car.|
