Kermorvan was originally a farmhouse and the adjoining barn has been renovated to include a holiday cottage with B&B on offer in the main house. We are situated just a 5 minute drive from the wonderful bay at St.Michel en Greve. Our home is 200 meters off a quiet county road, nestling between fields and trees giving it a truly country feel. Kermorvan has the best of both worlds and offers a place to relax and a base from which you can explore Cote d‘Armor and Finistere.
The cottage sleeps 4-6. It has it's own private entrance, terrace and garden.
The cottage is open plan with a well equipped kitchen and dining area separated from the sitting room by a breakfast bar. The room looks out over the south facing terrace into the garden.
The kitchen has ample work surface. There is an electric fan oven and ceramic hob, fridge and dishwasher. Other appliances include a toaster, coffee-machine and electric kettle. Tea-towels, hand-towels and tablecloths are included.
In the utility room neighbouring the cottage is a small freezer, a microwave and a washing machine available by arrangement.
The dining area looks out over the garden to the surrounding trees behind. The table seats 4-6. The breakfast bar has 2-3 stools.
The bright and airy sitting room has 2 large (2-3 seater) sofas and one armchair.
The French windows lead to the terrace and garden.
There is a tv with English channels and dvd player. Wi-fi is also available.
A good selection of holiday reads, crime, mystery and romance to choose from as well as some cds and dvds. There are also a few boardgames.
The bedrooms are on the first floor. The main double bedded room has a 160cm bed with space for a baby's cot (available on request). There is also a small wardrobe.
The second bedroom has bunk-beds, sturdy enough for adults, a small cupboard and a chest of drawers.

I was born in England, raised in Wales, have lived in Germany for 30 years and am now settled in beautiful Brittany, enjoying it's wonderful countryside and unspoilt coastline. I am bilingual (English/ German), love cooking for my guests, gardening and walking the dog on the beach.

Lively market every Thursday, selling local fresh produce and local delicacies as well as textiles, clothes etc.
Typical Breton village setting for a predominantly British car-boot sale, selling everything from bric-a-brac to garden tools, English groceries and fresh produce. Sit outside the cafe and watch the world go by....
Ideal for your first Sunday morning. You can find everything you need here for Sunday lunch, tea and dinner! The market runs through the little town which is the closest shopping location with a well-stocked supermarket, PO, chemist, fish shop, bars and restaurants.
At St Efflam only 4.5km from Kermorvan you can join in all kinds of nautical activities.
From sailing and sand yachting to stand-up paddle and canoe. At St Michel-en-Greve there is a kite-surfing school.
Kermorvan is in a wonderful restful location hidden in the countryside outside St Michel en Greve. The gite is very comfortable with everything well thought out and matched the advert description perfectly. Everything is finished to a high standard and is clean throughout. We received a warm welcome from Maggie and Klaus and a delicious dinner brought to the gite on night one. There was safe parking right next to the house and so loading and unloading the car was easy. Kermorvan offers a perfect balance of having the owner on site but also having the privacy of your own space and Maggie and Klaus are really sensitive to getting that just right. Although the weather during our stay was overcast we enjoyed the garden and appreciated the vase of freshly picked flowers.
Perhaps an upgrade of the patio furniture would be nice but it was perfectly usable with cushions provided. There are plenty of attractive villages, markets and beaches nearby. We particularly liked Locquirec and Ploumilliau. Tregastel has a lovely child friendly beach and Perros Guirec is also a great place to wander round. If you want to drive a bit further Roscoff was well worth a visit.
We would definitely recommend Kermorvan to friends wanting a restful, relaxing stay in North West Brittany.
We enjoyed our week at Kermorvan. It is in a beautiful, private setting which was perfect for us with our 2 dogs. The cottage is very well equipped and we were very comfortable
Maggie and Claus made us welcome and gave us information on the local area. Kermorvan is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful pink granite coastline.
We would definitely recommend this pretty little home to others
Nice helpful host, enclosed garden good for dogs.. Lovely beaches nearby. Would definately recommend.
We spent some lovely days in Kermorvan over an extended Easter weekend. The newly renovated cottage was clean, well-equipped and set in a tranquil location (though only a 5 minute drive to the local beach), with a private garden area for the kids to play along with terrace for the adults. The owners were very welcoming and provided useful tips of what could be done in the area (we hadn't spent a great deal of time preparing). As it happens we were spoilt for choice in terms of sandy beaches and rocky coastline to explore. What did surprise us was how relaxed things were in contrast to what would have been bedlum in many UK resorts at that time of year. This was our first visit to Brittany; we'd love to come back and highly recommend Kermorvan.
