Why this location? The views from the house are amazing and change dramatically through the seasons. We are in a very quiet area, yet only a 20 minute walk to the village where there is a supermarket, boulangerie, traditional butchers, chemist, launderette and post office. Moncontour is a small medieval city 10 minutes drive away. There are many beautiful sandy beaches about 30 minutes away and the ports and airports are within easy reach.
