Interaction with guests

We are never very far away, we can adapt to most peoples needs and are always there to welcome people and answer any questions they may have concerning the local area or anything else for that matter.
We provide a mobile number that the guests can call anytime of the day, we will always answer.

The neighbourhood

The house is ideally situated to be able to walk to all the local attractions, the village is not blatantly touristic, there are no candy floss stalls or games arcades, the atmosphere remains one of a working fishing port and adjacent village.
The surrounding countryside and beaches are breathtaking and even in the height of summer you can access a sandy cove where you will find seclusion or a country footpath where you can enjoy some peace and quiet. If you want to socialise the centre of the village has plenty of restaurants and bars where the atmosphere is convivial but never rowdy.

About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Isabelle Mariau

We have lived in Brittany for the last 20 years, my partner Dave is a joiner and I am a French/English teacher, we have 2 children who grew up here. We both fell in love with Brittany when considering moving back to France in 1994 (we spent 15 years in London) it has the perfect combination of beautiful countryside, no crowds and stunning coastline, we have a small sailing boat in the port of Dahouet (Pléneuf Val André) and spend our weekends in the summer exploring the coastline.

Year property purchased 2004
Why this location? We currently live in the country about 20 minutes inland from the coast but have plans at some point in the future to live in this house ourselves so when we carried out the extensive renovation works in 2007 we poured our hearts into it. All the finishes are carefully thought out from the oak floors to all new made to measure skirtings, architraves, the loft conversion, colour schemes and too much more to mention here.
We are both currently still working but manage in the summer this property along with two others in the same village so we are on call should you have any queries or special requirements. We both fell in love with Brittany when considering moving back to France in 1994 (we spent 15 years in London) it has the perfect combination of beautiful countryside, no crowds and stunning coastline, we have a small sailing boat in the port of Dahouet (in Pleneuf Val Andre) and spend our weekends in the summer exploring the coastline to the West and East of Pleneuf Val André.
Unique benefits of property The house is located between the huge sandy beach of Val Andre and the exquisite port of Dahouet, there are lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from, shops, boutiques, a casino, a sailing centre where all watersports are catered for and an excellent golf course overlooking the sea (one of the top five in France). All of the latter being walking distance, so you can leave your car behind.
The weekly markets are absolutely fabulous, selling fruits, vegetables, freshly caught fish, and local crepes. You will love strolling on the mile long promenade enjoying the panoramic view of St Brieuc's bay.

The house offers luxurious accommodation with an open plan granite tops kitchen and dining room leading to a South facing timber terraced garden and exterior provencale kitchen and bbq.

The lounge with its comfortable settees and armchairs is a great place to relax after a day holidaying.

All 5 bedrooms are beautifully furnished and decorated and there are 3 bathrooms and 5 toilets.
