|Kersolec||Self Catering||Sunday||3||6||2||1 Single bed, 1 travelcot|
Kersolec is a renovated 17thC farmhouse, steeped in history. Many years ago it was the Manoir where the owners lived surrounded by the workers cottages which have gradually fallen down or become holiday homes. The upstairs is light and summery and the downstairs has a cosy lounge. Ideal for couples or families, plenty of room for children to experience the rural life. This is a home not just a house and as owners we are on site to deal with any questions.
The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with a Raburn wood cooker for winter, electric oven and gas hob for summer and a fridge. The table seats six, but plenty of room for 8, with crockery and cutlery also for 8 persons.
The kitchen leads out on to the covered terrace and bbq area which is the full length of the outside of the house, and also leads to the back garden and plenty of play areas.
Small sitting area in kitchen/diner.
Tv lounge downstairs with 2 sofas, endless movies, books and games. UK tv and wi-fi.
This room opens onto the courtyard.
Family bedroom includes 1 double bed plus an extra single bed or a travel cot can be included. This room has a wc and basin, and fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom 2 is downstairs, has a double bed and is within easy use of the family bathroom.
There is also the den which contains 2 single beds. This room has an arched door to the courtyard.
Any of these rooms are big enough to include the child's bed/travel cot.
The family bathroom is downstairs and includes shower, roll top bath, wc and bidet.
Upstairs in the family bedroom is a wc and hand basin.
The Raburn wood stove heats the radiators in each room. There is also a woodburner in the tv lounge. These are not usually used in the summer months.
We have UK television and wi-fi. Plenty of books, games and movies for inside activities, and a huge playing field for football or any other outdoor activities.
The outside terrace seats 6 persons and extra chairs can be supplied for visitors.
The bbq is carbon. Visitors have full use of the back garden and terraces.
Plenty of room for parking in the courtyard.
Visitors are welcome.
This property has two double bedrooms which are large enough to accommodate 1 Double & 1 single & a travel cot. The third room (the den) has two single beds and is ideal for children.

We had an extremely pleasant 2 weeks in the warm cosy traditional French property. Plenty of walks around the near by lake and surrounding areas. We really enjoyed using the
aga to make our meals and relax in front of the log burning fire. Although there was full free Internet net connection we didn't really use it as we were visiting the local attractions. We will definitely come back we had a great time.
