I moved to France in 2016 with my partner Grant. We have been wanting to have a little holiday cottage for some income. We live in the Pays de le Loire on a little fermette with our dogs, cat, rabbits and chickens!

|Why this location?||We like the beautiful countryside and it is not too far from the lovely coastlines of Brittany.|
|Unique benefits of property||This cottage is set in a peaceful village which is very close to Brittany's largest lake, Lac de Guerledan. This lake provides beaches, walking routes, cycling and you can hire Kayaks, pedalos and try waterskiing. There are also some lovely restaurants nearby. It is conveniently situated to visit the beautiful Brittany coastline with the nearest coastal town being Saint-Brieuc, a 40 minute drive from the cottage.|
The Lac de Guerledan is Brittany's largest lake and is only 10 minutes away by car. The lake is very picturesque and offers lots to see and do including walks, cycling, birdwatching, swimming, and boating. You may like to relax at lunchtime at one of the many restaurants that are sited in villages around the lake.
Restaurant de la Vallee, at Saint-Gilles Vieux-Marche which is open lunchtimes from Monday to Sunday with a good 3 course at a reasonable price is one of our favourite places to eat, just 5 minutes away by car, or a slightly longer cycle ride. It is situated in a pretty village with a fishing lake.
La Petite Maison Blanche is in central Brittany and in driving distance of all the Brittany coastline. The nearest coastline is 50 minutes to the north via St Brieuc, which has several bays, and an historic town centre.
On a sunny day it is nice to relax in the garden with its shrub borders. The garden is not overlooked, so why not sit back, enjoy a glass of your favourite drink, and read a book.
A Webber BBQ is available so you can cook and dine alfresco.
