About this property

Delightful 2 Bedroom Cottage With Lawned Garden. This cottage/gite is in a village setting.

We are still working on this advert with new photos and a video to organise, please bear with us!

THERE ARE STILL DATES AVAILABLE IN JULY AND AUGUST

Our beautiful little cottage is ideally situated for walking around Jugon and driving to see other attractions that are a little further afield.

The cottage is nicknamed The "Tardis", much larger inside than it looks from the outside! It has 2 bedrooms plus bed settees in the living room and a small bed on the up stairs landing area. It has 2 bathrooms, the 1 upstairs has a large shower and the bathroom downstairs has a bath. Most of the ground floor is open plan with the kitchen/living and eating areas included.
It also has its own garden where you can sit, relax, have a glass of wine and watch the local wildlife very nearby. You could always put some sausages on the bbq as well.

It was Sean our friend who encouraged us to let out our cottage and as he has his own gite and looks after a couple of others he was an easy choice to look after ours as well. He has a very good reputation with the other gite owners and many visitors have left good and kind comments after their holidays. Sean will look after the reservations, he will meet, greet and try to ensure that your stay is trouble free.

We sincerely hope you have a wonderful holiday,
Laurie and Margaret

There is a large well equipped heated outdoor public swimming pool adjacent to the lake. There is a local Tourist Office with much info on what to do and see both locally and further afield.

A little further afield up north (30 mins away) are the beautiful beaches, cliffs and little harbours of the Emerauld Coast. There are many golf courses within a short drive, several good equestrian centres for trekking and riding lessons and nearby karting for the 'big boy' drivers!

There are good large supermarkets 15 mins drive away at Dinan to the east and Lamballe to the west.

Year property purchased 2009
Why this location? Jugon les Lacs (Petite Cite de Caractere) is well known for its beauty and “character”. Our wonderful little cottage (fondly called The Tardis) is just 3 minutes from the centre where you will find boulangeries, a boucherie, local bio shop, bars, a carrefour market and the very popular charity shop. It is also just a three minute walk to the beautiful lake where you will be able to partake in fishing, sailing, walking or just watching if you prefer.

In the winter Jugon is wonderfully quiet and in the summer it is quite different with plenty of organised events to entertain the locals and the tourist alike.

There is also the local Tourist Office where the staff there will advise you on where to go and what to do and see locally.
Jugon is ideally situated to travel by car to all the larger towns, the beautiful north coast and the many tourist attractions, zoos and parks
Unique benefits of property Our beautiful little cottage is ideally situated for walking around Jugon and driving to see other attractions that are a little further afield.

It also has its own garden where you can sit, relax, have a glass of wine and watch the local wildlife very nearby. You could always put some sausages on the bbq as well. Bring your suntan lotion as its a bit of a suntrap!

The Owner Recommends

Other local, further afield activities and places to see

In no particular order there is: go-karting, horse riding, Go ape-ing, paint ball, swimming, sand yachting, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, power boats. There are zoos, a water park, an aquarium and numerous castles, historical monuments and beautiful country Chateaus to visit. There are also always plenty of local fete’s offering food and traditional Breton activities, and the local markets offer a splendid opportunity to try local delicacies at very reasonable prices.

I strongly suggest a Google search because I am sure to have missed several things!
