Charming Gite With a Wealth of Oak Beams.. This cottage/gite is in a rural setting.

Here, at La Marette, we are very conscious of the fluctuation of the GBP exchange rate in the current economic climate. With this in mind, we have discounted the rates substantially in order to accommodate this. ​Times are tough, but we all need (and deserve!) a holiday and we hope that this compensates you in some way.

Sage Cottage is a lovely cottage providing 3* accommodation. The cottage has a good sized fully fitted kitchen and sitting room. There are 2 bedrooms with spiral stairs going up into each bedroom. Bed 1 has a double bed and Bed 2 has a double bed and a single bed, the bathroom is in between the 2 bedrooms. Outside eating area with table, chairs and parasol, bbqs, garden games and trampoline.

La Marette is set in approximately 2 acres of garden and orchard bordered by fields and woodland. A perfect spot to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Situated close enough to the N12 to be a great advantage to reach airports, ports and cities such as Rennes, but not so close as to be a nuisance. St Malo port 50 minutes, Dinard airport 30 minutes and Rennes airport 40 minutes away.

La Marette is perfectly situated to explore Brittany.

Beaches are about 40 mins away, and you have lots to choose from. Saint Cast Le Guido has a lovely beach and as you drive around the point the views always takes my breath away as you come round each corner you come to yet another beautiful bay.

Dinan is a beautiful town and very quirky with its cobbled streets and wonky buildings – Thursday morning is market day in Dinan and well worth the visit.

If you are a cyclist or enjoy a good walk there are many cycle routes in the area and up at Jugon les Lacs plenty of walks around the lake as well as various other activities.

From Mont St Michel to the Granite Coast there is plenty to explore.

Main bedroom with a double bedroom with beautiful original oak beams, metal bedstead, wooden flooring and quality bedding. Accessed via spiral staircase.

The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, exposed oak beams, wooden flooring and quality bedding. This is also accessed via a spiral staircase.


Stylish bathroom with feature cupboard top basin, wc and bath with shower attachment.


Electric Heating:
Electricity costs – each cottage has an electric meter. A reading will be taken on arrival and on departure - you will find that the standard daily allowance of 10kw should be more than enough during the summer months, however, should you exceed this (for heating for example), an additional charge of 0.20c per unit will be incurred and needs to be paid in cash prior to departure.
