30 July - 13 Aug 2017:

We have had an enjoyable holiday in your lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. It was very peaceful.

We did not go to the lake as often as we wanted but when we did the children loved it. We did quite a bit of sightseeing, St Breuc, Vannes and Pontivy. We liked the local walks and seemed to come away with lots of treasures.

Thank you for the welcome pack and looking after us.

We had a fantastic time. Its a lovely cottage inside and out. We appreciated having everything we might need in the kitchen, great shower and comfortable bed.

So much to see, must come back.

It was superb – just the right size, perfectly positioned, a wonderful garden, very comfortable rooms. Tea and coffee available and a bottle of cider in the fridge was really appreciated. The hamlet of Keriven was stunning, peaceful and beautiful. The lake with its beach and facilities was a 10 minute walk, but we also enjoyed the forest trails accessible from just outside the cottage. The surrounding area was delightful, and we particularly liked the village of Mur de Bretagne (especially the Mur De Pizza, fantastic pizzas with a lovely host).
Centrally situated, it is a superb base from which to drive to the many sights of Brittany - north to the Pink Granite Coast or south to Carnac and Concarneau, either way was about 90 minutes of easy driving and good parking. Josselin with its chateau and gardens and quaint village centre is about 50 minutes away. We have to go back - not enough time, too much to see, and we will certainly return to this idyllic cottage. Owners Mike and Maureen kindly supplied us with any information we needed and we are extremely grateful to them.
