We bought Le Camus in early 2008 to create an easy to escape to holiday home for our growing family. The renovation was carried out to a high standard and the house is impeccably maintained by close relatives who have lived in the local area for many years. We particularly enjoy being able to escape to Le Camus when we need to relax and escape from the pressures of busy working lives.

Hire kayaks from 7.50 Euros for unaccompanied half-days or join a guided trip down the river - suitable for all ages and no previous experience is necessary. Alternatively hire an all terrain bike to explore the area.
The restaurant for mussels! A vast selection of moules options fill the menu, along with a good wine list, tasty meat of the day options for non-shellfish lovers and tables full of locals, so you know the cooking is good!
An ancient stone river crossing over the Lie, still said to be used by deer. A magically peaceful place to cool off with a picnic, or follow the marked riverside walk.
Award-winning gourmet restaurant, where the 4 course dinner will take all evening. Prepare to be amazed by both the taste and exquisite presentation of the food offered.
Very comfortable gite, beatifully restored, all the cooking equipment was in top condition, and all the things we enjoyed was the fact that the owners representative was always on the end of a telephone, and very helpful. The property was perfectly portrayed. I would certainly recommend thus property to other people wanting to spend time in Brittany or Normandy. Many thanks to the owners and representatives og Le Petit Camus. Junier
Petit Camus and the larger Le Camus right next door (in fact they are two halves of the same building) is an oasis surrounded by beautiful countryside, tranquility and not much else! Whether it's for a quiet, relaxing week or for the full-on fortnight family holiday with - eek -the in-laws, it's absolutely perfect. The owners have thought of everything and clearly put a lot of effort into making your stay as enjoyable as possible. No hesitation in recommending, except that if it gains popularity, we might have trouble finding a vacant slot for our return trip.
'Le Petit Camus' is an extremely well equipped gite, tastefully decorated with very comfortable furniture and excellent beds. The outlook is rural and very peaceful. The property was very clean and a welcome pack was much appreciated. Plemet, an attractive town a short distance away, has an excellent restaurant, a supermarket and garage. 'Le Petit Camus' has all the qualities to provide one with the ideal accommodation for a holiday in beautiful Brittany.
Le Petit Camus was a beautiful property in a lovely setting. The kitchen was excellently stocked, allowing us to make several adventurous meals during our stay.
Penny, who manages the property, was extremely helpful and we were able to try out several of her recommendations for places to eat - we didn't have a bad meal, and all offered excellent value for money.
As we went over Easter, and the weather left rather a lot to be desired, the week turned into a week of consuming good food and wine, rather than the active holiday we had planned. I imagine that in summer Le Petit Camus is a perfect base for groups to enjoy the countryside and local eateries - although one of you will have to for-go the wine or cider as you will need to drive to get to them!
I am glad the unseasonally stormy weather this Easter didn't spoil your enjoyment of Le Petit Camus and I hope to welcome you back another time when you will hopefully get the chance to see more of the surrounding area as well as visiting the local eateries!
