The detached former Coach House can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests plus a baby/infant.
The majority of the accommodation is on the ground floor making it more attractive for guests with minor mobility issues. (please note this gite has not been adapted to meet the needs of those with more serious mobility problems and physical limitations).
There is one bedroom on the first floor which is approached via a steep staircase. This bedroom can sleep 3 in a double and a single bed. There is restricted headroom at one end of the room but full headroom at the other.
The room is popular with children. It has two opening windows both of which are fitted with "restrainers" to limit opening when the room is used by children.
The combined kitchen/dining area is light and airy. The pine dining table can be used by up to 8 guests.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric fan oven, four burner gas hob with extractor hood over, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and the usual range of small kitchen appliances. A full range of crockery and cutlery is provided as well as ample cooking utensils. A childs high chair is also available.
The kitchen is equipped with a smoke alarm, fire extinguisher and fire blanket.
The cosy lounge has exposed beams and a large Breton fire place in which there is a log burning stove (logs available at a small additional cost). There is arrange of comfortable easy chairs and a settee.
There is also a dvd player and tv which receives all BBC, ITV and free SKY channels as well as other non-payment stations. Wi-fi is also available (shared with other gites). There is also a selection of boardgames, jigsaw puzzles and books available to help ensure a happy family holiday.
There are smoke and CO2 alarms located in the lounge.
There are double and twin bedded rooms on the ground floor. Both rooms have ample wardrobe and drawer space for clothing etc Both rooms have beside lights.
Duvets, pillows and bed linen is provided.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has an "over-bath" shower, wash hand basin and toilet.
Hand and bath towels are provided for each guest.
There is a log burning stove in the lounge in case there is a cool summer evening but in reality it is rarely used.
Portable electric fans are available should the weather become very hot.
The Coach House has a dvd player, tv, a selection of boardgames, jigsaw puzzles and a selection of books.
The surrounding lanes, which are quiet with only occasional cars and tractors, are ideal for walking and cycling both by children and adults.
Safe sandy beaches are in easy travelling distance. The larger nearby towns of Lannion and Morlaix have a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars. They also have weekly street markets as does Plestin-les-Greves.there is also small maeket in Plouaret on Tuesday mornings.
The Coach House has its own individual lawned area immediately outside the entrance door. There is a bbq, patio furniture (table and chairs) and a parasol for convenient al fresco dining.
Also In the grounds is a 10 metre covered, heated swimming pool. The pool is kept locked to avoid small, unsupervised children wandering in. Guests are provided with a key for their personal use. The pool is heated from May until early September and can be used daily between 9.00a.m and 6.00 p.m. Also in the grounds is a Boules pitch (Boules provided),a netball post, and for younger guests a small slide, swing and rocker
A laundry room with 2 washing machines and a tumble drier (2 Euro charge) is available to guests. An iron and ironing table is providing in the gite. There is a rotary clothes line specifically for guests of this gite
There is more than ample parking on site for all guests. Guests are asked to use the car parking area rather than park in front of their individual gite (apart from unloading and loading on arrival and departure) to minimise risks to small children playing on site.
This slightly larger gite with much of its accommodation situated on the ground floor is particularly suited to families which may have an elderly member or a relative with a minor mobility issue.
The gite is ideally located for family holidays in a quiet and peaceful area of rural is only a minor change of level going into the gite.
Semi-retired but still involved in business activities. In between these activities I enjoy spending time in France, relaxing, sampling wines, eating out.

|Why this location?||Quiet, rural setting but close to town with shops and access to rail network there are direct trains to Paris and Brest. Kervegan Bihan is an easy drive to the ferry ports of Roskoff (37miles) and St Malo (90 miles), beaches, coastal walks and larger towns, markets and places of interest.
There are weekly markets in the nearby towns of Lannion (Thursdays), Plestin Le Greve (Sundays) and Morlaix.
The gites are close to the national rail network, the road network is excellent putting major towns and cities in easy reach. There are regional airports at Brest, Rennes and Dinan which have flights to UK cities.
|Unique benefits of property||Kervegan Bihan is situated in the lush Brittany countryside about 3kms from the small town of Plouaret.
Formerly a small farm the original farmhouse and out buildings have been converted into attractive gites, whilst retraining many of their original features. In the grounds is a 10 metre covered, heated swimming pool (heated May to early September), boules pitch, and for the more energetic a netball pitch. For younger guests there is a swing, small slide and rocker.
Sandy beaches of St Efflam and St Michel En Greve are 10 to 15 minutes drive away. The Rose Granit coast with its stunning rock formations, sandy beaches and bays is about 30 minutes away.
Plouaret is a small friendly town in easy reach of the coast and the larger towns of Lannion, MorlaIix and St Brieuc and of which are well worth visiting. There is a small market in Plouaret on Tuesday mornings and a large street market in Lannion on Thursday mornings. There is also a market in Plestin Le Greve on Sunday mornings. All these markets offer a wide range of fresh local produce as well as clothing and craft items.
