Bonjour. I am Marianne, I am married to Chris and we have 4 grown up children and 2 grandchildren. We have dogs, cats and chickens. We relocated to France in 2008.

I love gardening and cooking and can think of nothing better than a plate full of homegrown food from our own vegetable garden. I enjoy walking and exploring locally and further afield.

I grew up in the hotel industry and love welcoming people to our little piece of Brittany.

|Why this location?||We came to visit friends in Langourla and fell in love with the area. The beautiful Breton countryside is stunning with every season and the surrounding towns and cities offer something for everyone.
We chose La Roche es Lait because it ticked all the boxes on our wish list - stone house, plenty of space, large gardens, and within 1 hours travelling time of ports and airports back to the U.K.
|Unique benefits of property||The property is ideally situated in central Brittany, making it the perfect base for exploring the region, but if all you want to do is chill out, rest, relax and recharge the batteries then look no further. The accommodation is well equipped and comfortable, a home from home.
Dinan is one of our favourite places to visit. You can easily spend a day wandering around the medieval streets, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying a long lunch whilst watching world go by. To get a birds eye view a climb up the clock tower is a must but watch out for the bell chimes. There is a chateau within the ramparts, worth a visit. If you want to take a boat trip down the Rance towards Dinard and Saint Malo, there are trips available from the port.
We stayed here in March 2019. It was a wonderful relaxing break in a lovely well-equiped gite. Perfect place to unwind and spend some quality time with your significant other and four-legged friends.
Clean, tidy and in good condition as you expect. The log burner is a really nice feature, and made the evenings warm and cosy. The setting is great, lots of walks for the dogs on the doorstep in beautiful countryside. Nice sights if you're happy to go exploring abit further afield
You'll need to drive to local shops, but not a problem. We went and stocked up, and then switch off from the world - ideal
Thanks for a great stay, can't wait to come back.
Thank you for your kind comments, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
