|Holiday property with shared pool||Self Catering||Flexible||1||4||1||One double sofabed|
Bright sunny 1 bedroom apartment "Lou Messugo" sleeps up to 4 people and is attached to, but fully independent of, our beautiful Provencal family home in the world-famous French Riviera. ("Apartment" doesn't really describe our place though as that gives the impression it is in a block of flats, which it is not! The French word gite suits it much better!).
Set in a large garden with swimming pool (shared only with us, the owners) on a quiet no-through road, this tranquil setting is only a few minutes' walk to the local town centre with all amenities.
Kitchenette with 2 ring hob, oven, microwave/grill, fridge, dishwasher and all necessary equipment for cooking your own meals. Dining table for 4. Cutlery and crockery for 4.
The double aspect living/dining room is south and east facing and is gorgeously sunny all day long . It has a sofa which can be used as a double (140cm) sofabed, satellite tv, hi-fi with USB connexion, wi-fi (free & unlimited), bookshelves with novels and guide books. It looks out on to the sun-trap patio with bbq and sunloungers and across the large garden. In the summer fans are provided and in the cooler months it is heated by efficient and cosy underfloor heating.
One bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and full length mirror, tastefully decorated in muted Provençal tones.
There is a modern bathroom with large open shower, heated towel rail, basin, shelves and wc.
Underfloor heating throughout.
Tv with satellite channels, free wi-fi throughout, stereo with USB connection for phones/tables etc. We provide age appropriate toys for babies, toddlers and kids and can provide boardgames as we live on site.
The garden is big enough to play ball games, badminton, croquet etc. We can provide the equipment for these games. There is a ping pong table, large netted trampoline and boules pitch, and of course the lovely pool in the summer months. The patio/terrace is a real sun trap and it is warm enough to sit outside and eat for most of the year. We provide a charcoal barbecue on the terrace.
Space to park one car directly outside the front door making it easy to carry luggage and sleeping babies! We have a garage which you can use to store bikes, motorbikes, golf clubs, roof boxes etc.
Suitable for all ages. We welcome couples of all ages, families with babies and toddlers and families with older kids. The gite is all on one level but it is not wheelchair friendly I'm afraid.
To make life easy we can provide most necessary equipment for travelling with babies/toddlers such as a travelcot, highchair, plastic plates/cutlery/cups, changing mat and a good selection of toys, books and games. We know just how much paraphernalia the smallest members of the family come with as we've been there
