Domaine Villa Mas St Jean is a beautifully restored 19th century Provencal Mas situated just outside the historical village of Noves, famous for its 12th century Eglise St. Baudile. The Mas is ideally set right in the heart of Vincent van Gogh's Provence, between St-Remy-de-Provence and Avignon, the walled city of the Popes.

Domaine Villa Mas St Jean is situated in a fortified domain measuring 6.000m², in the midst of a park-like garden with palm trees, century-old olive and siccamore trees, and oleander and lavender lined walkways. The domain itself is surrounded by orchards.

Domaine Villa Mas St Jean's volume is impressive, with 380m² of luxurious living space and 4 bedrooms all with private bathrooms. It will comfortably host up to 8 adults and the family-suite has a private mezzanine with a sleeping couch that sleeps an additional 2 persons, usually children. In the garden you will find a pool area with a large heated pool and fully equipped summer kitchen with barbecue facilities.

The house comprises a fully equipped open plan kitchen, a dining room and 2 living areas. The living areas, the dining room and the kitchen are all decorated in sumptuous Provencal fashion, and all have traditional Provencal fireplaces (3 in total). The family suite and mezzanine can be closed off together with one of the living areas for extra privacy.

Bedrooms
The 4 bedrooms are each decorated in harmony with one of the colors that define this region. All 4 have private bathrooms and are equipped with superior class double beds. Three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, one private bathroom is located in the hallway. All bedrooms have air conditioning and share magnificent views of the garden.

Garden and Terrace
The house is situated in the midst of a park-like garden. A wide variety of Mediterranean plants and trees provides informal areas to relax and enjoy the scenery, surrounded by the fragrances of oleanders and lavender.

All downstairs areas have direct access to the large outside terrace, with beautiful views of the garden. The terrace has a comfortable seating area and a large dining table.

In the garden you will find a jeux-de-boules court and there is ample parking space available. The parking place also offers charging for TESLA and other electrical vehicles.

Pool Area
There is a large heated swimming pool (6 by 12 meters) and the pool area has a fully equipped summer kitchen. The pool terrace faces south and is partially roofed to provide some welcome shade. During spring and autumn the terrace can be heated with gas heaters. The pool has an automatic cover which is to be used as a safety device.

The fully equipped open plan kitchen has an open fire place. The stove is hand-made, a LaCornue grand papa 135 with 2 ovens and a plancha. The kitchen seats 6 persons.
The separate dining room has a large antique table that seats 8 persons. The room has an traditional open fireplace.

Living rooms

The Mas has 2 living rooms. The main living room (60 sqm) has a flatscreen tv and open fire place. The other living room is used as a library and has direct acces to the south faced terrace.

Bedrooms

The 4 bedrooms are each decorated in harmony with one of the colors that define this region. All 4 have private bathrooms and are equipped with superior class double beds. Three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, one private bathroom is located in the hallway. All bedrooms have air conditioning and share magnificent views of the garden.

Each bedroom has a private bathroom (all with Italian douche) with separate toilet. Three bathrooms are en suite, one bathroom is directly opposite the room.
All bathrooms are new and renovated in 2012/2014.

Heating

The Mas has central heating. In addition we have solar panels installed (tubes with a liquid) to heat warm water and the pool.

Welcome  to our home, domaine Villa Mas St Jean. From September 2004 we are the proud owners of this stunning domaine, peaceful and quietly hidden between apple, pear, cherry and apricot plantations. We make our living with exploiting domaine Villa Mas St Jean as a luxury bed & breakfast and a luxury holiday home. When you rent our domaine, we welcome you at your day of arrival and depart to our cosy townhouse in Vasion-la-Romaine, 40 km north from Noves.
