La Bastide de Moustalas is a charming 16th century property which is luxuriously renovated and elegantly furnished with all the modern confort. Just half a mile from the delightful medieval hilltop village of Saint-Restitut on the Vaucluse border, an area of vineyards, lavender fields, orchards, truffles and "herbes de Provence".
The Bastide is situated in a beautiful surroundings with a five acre garden of flowers, shrubs, an orchard and trees with several terraces for different occasions from breakfast to lunch and dinner.
The spacious and light living and dining area opens on to a pergola dining terrace overlooking the pool, which is set in a sunny position surrounded by lawns and flowering shrubs. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and surrounded by lawns shrubs, natural woodland and different playgrounds with petanque pitch, swimming pool, table tennis.
Carefully placed lighting creates a romantic outdoor setting for evening drinks while the roof terrace offers a magnificent panoramic views over the Moustalas forest and the surrounding hills. This is truly a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy Provence at is best.
A fully equipped kitchen breakfast room with fridge/freezer (an additional fridge/freezer is provided in the atelier), oven, hob, extractor fan, dish washer, toaster, coffee machine, food and fruit mixer.
Dining room for 10 people which open to a large terrace pergola for 10 people with fabulous views to the garden/park area.

A lovely walk through the woods from the Bastide will lead you to the picturesque medieval village of St-Restitut with its full of history from the Romanesque to the Renaissance periods. A lovely stroll from the village wil bring you to the préhistorique village of "Troglodytes", where you have a breath taking view of Mont Ventoux and Dentelles de Montmirail and Chateau de Suze la Rousse (the french wine university).
Saint-Restitut is in the heart of the Cotes du Rhône and surounded by over 50 vineyards with somme well known names such as Rasteau, Vaquéras, Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pâpe, Saint-Joseph, Sablet, Séguret and many others.
This is a region rich with Provençale markets every day.

You can visit the "Chateau de Mornas"(8 miles), the "Chateau de Grignan (9 miles) and the "Chateau de Suze la Rousse"(3 miles), host many evening theatrical events on its terraces transporting the spectator into the 17th century.
