Beautifully private and typically French house
We stayed in the beautiful villa St Roch in Provence
It was ideal for my family of 4 adult children.
The villa was very private, had a well fitted kitchen, open plan lounge/dining area and large porch area with views over the quaint village of Montferrat.
There are 4 bedrooms and the property will comfortably accommodate up to 8 adults. Bathroom and toilets on both floors made it well suited for large family groups.
The pool is small but adequate as a dip and cool-off facility and is serviced weekly. Access to the pool is up some steep steps and is probably not well suited for small children
The house is ideally suited to explore the many surrounding picturesque and medieval villages in this region. Nice airport is just over an hour’s drive away. A car is essential.
The owner, Viviane, was delightful and most helpful.
Thank you again for a wonderful holiday.
WE LOVED THE VIEWS
We have stayed at the villa on 2 occasions, the house is spacious and comfortable, the tiles covering the floors make it cool in the summer. there is a large screen TV, a good kitchen(american fridge freezer, a bonus)
Outside there are lot of different areas to sit out and relax in the shade of trees or in the sun after plunging in the pool.
with just a short 6 mns walk to the village it is great to go to restaurants, cafés, shops, waterfalls, tennis court.
We will definitely come again
