Fabulous, well equipped, large 1 bed apartment, sleeping up to 5, on a gated, low level, residential domain, with pools, ample parking and just a 17 min walk from Ste Maxime town with it’s beach & marina. Visited and inspected by Trip Advisor 2016, our spacious, apartment has Wi-Fi and Sky Now TV for your entertainment, a large, furnished, private garden where you can relax, dine al- fresco, & catch some rays. The lounge and bedroom have ceiling fans and the building also has a ducted air system to cool and eliminate humidity. Guests with health issues or very young babies may want to consider hiring our mobile air con unit if staying in the peak summer season.

Food halls, a supermarket, wine stores, boulanger, butchers, greengrocer are just 3 minute walk from the domain. Library, cinema, restaurant/ brasserie and pizza takeaway are within 5 mins walk and within a 15 minute walk three's a hypermarket, restaurants, a water park, adventure park & a bank. If you don't want to walk into Ste Maxime, a local shuttle bus stops outside the domain. It will also take you to Ste Maxime & it's many beaches with unlimited journeys costing 2.5 euro per day, 10 euro per week or 15 euro per month.

The French Riviera is a world renowned holiday destination and Ste Maxime is located in the Bay of St Tropez. With the beautiful clear waters of the Mediterranean, a south facing location, over 10 kilometres of white sandy beaches & over 300 days of sun annually, the town is a major draw for visitors.

Ste Maxime is a family orientated resort with activities for all ages. Unlike many other resorts on the Cote D'azur, is very much alive all year round with approximately 14,000 local residents. There are modern shopping facilities, traditional indoor and outdoor markets, pedestrianised streets, a marina, 2 golf courses, casino & numerous bars, cafes, restaurants & beaches. Water sports of every description are available. One of the best loved beaches is Plage du Centre Ville as it is flat, sandy and sheltered - ideal for families. There is a local shuttle boat to St Tropez and Port Grimaud plus other boat excursions. Ste Maxime hosts numerous festivals and musical events. The Theatre de Mer on the main promenade offers free entertainment for all ages through out the summer. Hiking, archery, horse riding & mountain biking are available close by too

40% deposit payable on booking. Balance due 8 weeks before rental period begins. £300 bond payable when final balance due and refundable subject to there being no damages.  

No additional charge for wifi and Sky now tv or mechanical ventilation system - these are free items.

We provide free bed linen for 1 bed and towels for 2 guest for bookings of 2 weeks. These must be left behind at the end of the stay. Alternatively, if you prefer to bring your own, which many of our guests from mainland Europe do, you can opt instead for a £20 discount.

So that you are not subsidising other guests and also to give you control over the rental cost following are classified as chargeable extras:

I bought the property off plan so the area was just a building site when I was it. However, it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Why this location? I wanted somewhere that was family friendly, accessible without a car and suitable for holidays all year round and this is Ste Maxime. It is very much alive all year round with approximately 14,000 local residents. There are modern shopping facilities, traditional markets, pedestrianised streets, a marina, numerous bars, cafes, restaurants & beaches. I intend retiring here so I opted for a gated residential domain with lots of faculties. I couldn't have made a better choice. I'm not disturbed by traffic noise, I have the use of a shared pools, I have lots of private outdoor space and I can walk into Ste Maxime in 20 minutes or get the local shuttle bus, thus avoiding the summer traffic jams too. There are also lots of local facilities, shops, restaurants, etc within 800m of the domain.
Unique benefits of property It's on a residential domain, not a holiday domain so their is a sense of community. It also doesn't become noisy and overcrowded for this reason. The apartment is larger than purpose built holiday properties and it hs loads of private outdoor space for sunbathing and al fresco dining. I love being able to eat every meal outdoors from April to mid November.

Port Grimaud

Super, man made resort with great beaches and waterways, Port Grimaud is know as "Little Venice. Again, accessible by car or the same bus and shuttle boats that serve St Tropez.

St Raphael

Another popular holiday resort. Regular buses run from Ste Maxime to St Raphael. If you want to explore further afield without driving, you can get the train from St Raphael to many other popular, world renowned resorts including Juan le Pins, Antibes, Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo.

St Tropez

This chic, well renowned resort is easily accessible by car but also by local public transport. Buses run approximately hourly from the tourism office in Ste Maxime. Alternatively, take the Bateaux Vert or the Bateaux Blue from St Maxime marina and take in the views during the 10 minute journey.

Ste Maxime Waterpark

Within a 10 minute walk of the domain, you'll find St Maxime Waterpark for a great fun filled day.

The property was clean but was lacking in character and suffered from being darker than expected due to its corner, lower floor position. The garden had suffered from the hot, dry summer but was also in a poor state of repair when we arrived. The owner was very quick to rectify this when notified of the situation - the owner is a delight to deal with and was very accommodating and helpful

Overall, the development on which the property sits is about a 15 - 20 minute walk from the beach area in Ste Maxime. The walk, however, takes you down a busy dual carriageway before the approach to the town narrows into a one-way system. There are local shops either side of the busy road, but there is little charm to the setting. On the whole, it is a disappointing location even though the facilities are perfectly OK.

Thank you for your review, David. I am surprised by some of your comments as most of the guests are delighted by the domain and the pool. There is little traffic noise, plenty of bird song and it is very green and the properties are very traditional in design, all low level. You are correct that part of the walk into town is along a road which can be busy during holiday season. This is only to be expected in this area. However, it is flat, well lit and has pedestrian and cycle pathways, making it very safe for pedestrians. It is Ste Maxime that is the attraction rather than the actual walk into town. There is the local shuttle bus too that stops outside of the domain. I agree that the apartment is not characterful. It is described as modern and the photographs reinforce this. Functional is a more accurate description, especially for families due to the ability to accommodate 5 guests. Thank you anyway for staying with us and I hope you enjoyed your time in Paris too.

A little gem. We were worried that the apartment might have been a bit small, being a one bedroom. We needn't have. It was the perfect billet and there was plenty of room. Very clean and everything we needed was supplied. The domaine was quiet and very pleasant. We found the Simplibus was a godsend for trips to and from the centre. We made good use of the pool which was perfect after a day out. The location is very central and trips out by car were numerous. We recommend a visit to Gorge du Verdon and hiring Kayaks is a must. We also visited St Paul de Vence. A beautiful fortified town with lots of art. We spent a full day at the nearby Aqualand - a short walk away and though it is pricey, the boys loved it. We recommend a coastal walk along the peninsula of Saint-Tropez. It commences at Plage de Gigaro and is very tranquil. Along the walk you can drop down to the quieter Brouis beach. Not for those who have difficulty walking - it incorporates rocky areas and lots of steps. However, certainly worth a visit if you're wanting to get away from everyone. Sainte Maxime is lively of an evening and the choice of restaurants is fantastic. Just make sure you take plenty of euros as it can be hard on the wallet for a family. We ate some evening meals at home and this proved cost effective. All in all this was a fabulous place and we recommend it heartily. You won't be disappointed.

Had a great holiday here. Lovely apartment in quiet location but just minutes from town, beach and waterpark. Very spacious compared to other places we have stayed. Good pool- loads of loungers and chairs. Good local supermarkets and shops. Hardly used the car because everything was so convenient. Easy booking process and security deposit returned promptly. On site manages very nice too.
